Friendly Owner and Tasty Pasties - Edit
Stopped here along a road trip and was very happy we did! Tasted like I stepped foot onto English soil. Served hot. Filling. Wish there were more options, but I’m happy there was the one!

Vegan pasty and dairy free Italian ice - Edit
Pretty decent, minimal options but those were decent. I wasn’t crazy about the pasty but I don’t know what regular ones taste like so maybe it’s just supposed to be bland. Italian ice flavors were interesting! I tried them both and thought they were good! Plenty of outdoor seating

We tried the vegan pasties again this year on our family trip. Better than last time we had them a few years ago! We are thankful for the vegan options! Very tasty and seasoned well. Highly recommend!

I tried to get a vegan pastie one day but they were sold out. They mentioned they go fast and to call right when they open to put them on hold. I’ll have to say, these vegan pasties were delicious! Don’t miss the opportunity to try one if you’re in the area!

A good vegan pasty - Edit
My husband and son ate lunch here twice and enjoyed their pasty. There was one vegan option, which had carrots, broccoli, rutabaga, onions, and potatoes. While they offer a gluten free option, they did NOT offer a vegan GF option, so I wasn’t able to enjoy one with my family. My daughter did not like the pasty because it tasted too strongly of pepper. The pasty crust is not traditional. A pasty usually has a flaky crust. This one was softer, and while it was a good meal, my hubby wished it tasted like a traditional crust. Overall a good option and we’d come back. Hopefully they’ll offer a gf vegan option next time!

Being able to get a vegan pasty is a rarity in the UP and one that is always welcome! The pasty itself tasted great, but the filling wasn't traditional (in my opinion). Also it was nice that they are served hot because other vegan pasty places in the UP require to call ahead.

Fresh, Hot, Authentic...VEGAN...U.P. Pasties!! - Edit
We took an early boat tour around Grand Island that left us not only chilly but soaked (worth it, thanks Riptide Ride!!). Afterward, it was a real pleasure to find hot, fresh, authentic U.P. Pasties from a local small business that were both delicious and vegan. I mean, that seemed too good to be true when I read about it, but it's real! I would have eaten more, but one was plenty. I took one to go and will be ordering more in the future since they'll ship them to you. This place is going to be saved in my favorites for sure!

Hot and ready vegan pasties in January seemed too good to be true, but they really had them! That said, it’s really just some plain veggies in a dough pocket, but I’ve always wanted to try one and now I have. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

We stopped here for lunch after a 10-mile hike, so my review may be influenced by the fact that I was really hungry. But fortunately, we got the last two vegan pasties that day and thoroughly enjoyed the flavors as we scarfed them down. The staff person was really helpful in explaining the fillings. This pasty isn't a blast-you-in-the-face flavor experience; it's the quiet pleasure of a well-seasoned, well-cooked vegetable filling. You can taste and enjoy the vegetables.

Shoutout to this place for offering a vegan pasty, which I haven’t seen anywhere before. They were also pretty affordable and huge. Pasty was flavorful. I will say, while the pasty filling was vegan, I’m not entirely sure if the dough they use for the pasty is vegan. They also had dairy free Italian ice.

SO glad this place has vegan pasties!!! Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want to experience a true UP tradition. My first ever pastie so I have nothing to compare it to, but I absolutely loved it. Go early, as they sell out fast! They also usually have one vegan option for ice cream too.

I was excited to have found a vegan option of this UP-staple. The filling was an assortment of potatoes and veggies and was filling & delicious! Make sure you call ahead to make sure they still have some available - the employees are very kind and let us place a hold on a couple to pick up later in the day

Small store where you can pick up a pre-made vegan pasty and get some Italian ice. The Vegan pasty is absolutely delicious. Also, this may be one of the few options out this far in the area. I called ahead to make sure they had some left and they were able to hold it for me. Definitely check in before you stop by, as I've heard they can sell out depending on how many they make.
