Overpriced - Edit
I went to Mindful Market and was disappointed. Firstly, everything in there is imported, none of it was local, so in terms of mindful, they certainly aren't mindful of the environment or supporting small businesses.
Read moreAlong with imported goods, comes imported prices. Yes, you can get vegan cheeses but they're so expensive they're not worth buying. There are lots of vegan alternatives like cheese, chocolates and sauces in jars, but we felt we could live without them and their price tags.
There is a small cafe in the middle of the shop (before you get to the $300 yoga mats and matching crystals) with one or two vegan options, plus one vegan cake. I've attached the picture of the cake, it was tasty yes, but that layer on the top that was described as 'crunch' is sugar. That's why it's crunchy- it's brown sugar.
Ultimately, for me, it's not somewhere I'd make a special trip to again. (Also, I couldn't afford to!)
Cons: Really expensive, All imported, nothing local, Massively expensive
