Yummy food, cheap price 👌 - Edit
This place hasn’t been updated since 2019, but not much has changed and it is very much still up and running. Best of all, it may even be fully vegan!
Read moreI didn’t see anything non vegan and they even have a vegan label on the board, although most things aren’t actually labeled.
It is a classic pay-by-weight buffet style, and you take your food on a tray. As mentioned in a previous reviews, this place is in a food court, although they do have their own limited seating.
They are abundant in a variety of tofu.
They accept cash or payment for your metro/transport card.

Veggie buffet ( - Edit
Buffet where you pay the weight of your dish.
Read moreThere are a lot of options, but didn't think the flavor was great.
Thw good thing is, that it is inexpensive. I paid 100 for rice and veggies.
You can get a box for take away or otherwise a plate.
The good thing is that this place is in a food court. So it is great when you go out with meat loving friends. Everyone can get something they like.
Pros: 5 grain rice option , Affordable

The Best Buffet! - Edit
This place is incredible, its tucked away inside a department store and does not open until 11am, but it is well worth a visit.
Read moreI believe they have the best selection and tastiest selection of food I have ever had at a vegetarian buffet in Asia. Some dishes clearly have egg in them, but I believe the majority were vegan. The desserts and sweet section was very impressive here too.
I could easily eat here everyday if I lived in Taipei.
Staff were friendly and plenty of locals were eating here, give it a visit and you will not be disappointed.
Pros: HUGE VARIETY!, Reaosnably priced, Quick, easy, fast food.

One of the better pay by weight cheap buffets - Edit
This pay by weight vegetarian buffet is one of the better ones around Taipei. Its easy to find and has a fairly large varied assortment of dishes. There are even a few very tasty interesting dishes.Otherwise the dishes are similar to most of the buffets in town
Read moreI have visited many times over the Years when I want a quick cheap dinner.Worth the visit if you want to sample Chinese vegetarian food, and not not pay an arm and a leg.
Pros: Inexpensive, Wide selection, Easy to find

The food is nice - Edit
Minder Vegetarian - Xinyi is the same as the one in Eslite Dunnan or the one inside the Taipei Main Station. Great food, plenty of vegan options (avoid the wrap with mayonnaise), and pretty affordable. I love their turnip cake, fried tofu skin, and different kinds of stir-fried vegetables.
Read moreThe only downside about this place is that since it's a vegetarian buffet, if you go a bit late after lunch/dinner time not much food will be left.
Pros: Nice food, Convenient location

Affordable vegetarian! - Edit
Came here after searching for a vegetarian place. It's located at level B2 of Eslite Xinyi, in the foodcourt. If you take the lift down, it will be on your immediate left. The lunch crowd moves real fast, so you need to decide what you want quickly. It's affordable and a plate of food cost me only NTD126 the last time I went. Have been here several times now!

Wonderful selection - Edit
We stumbled on this by accident in the Eslite food hall basement. The range of food was superb and we were able to fill up our plates quite well for only $130 each. Different rice options are available too (multigrain was my personal fave) for an extra $7-$10.
Read moreAs with most buffet places, don't expect drinks to be available, but you can take in a takeaway drink if you wish (no-one has dsapproved of us doing this just yet!)
If you're missing some Western food while out in Taiwan, you can also have hash browns - try to catch them while they're hot! :-D
Pros: Fantastic selection, Friendly staff, Fresh vegetables

Convenient for a quick bite - Edit
Dropped by here for lunch after browsing around in the Eslite building. Setting was nothing fancy, but the location couldn't be handier as it was right in the food court in the basement. They served a pay-by-weight buffet with tons of choices. Everything was egg free as stated on a sign and it wasn't hard to figure out which one might have dairy just by looking. Soup, rice, congee and noodles were not included and cost an extra TWD10-20 each. I got a whole plate piled up with all kinds of food plus a bowl of multigrain rice, and together with my partner's plate, our meal set us back only TWD300. Food was pretty tasty to boot. The only thing I didn't get was when I asked for some regular water the staff simply said "we don't have water". Very weird, why they refused outright to provide water to customers was beyond me.
