Interesting concept but below average food

Tried the weekend buffet. Fascinated with the spread but all buffet spread food were cold. Fried stuff were tough and dry. They have hot dessert and about 10 noodles dish to order together with lok lok. Only those items are hot. Overall heavy mock starchy and filling items.

Pros: Buffet Variety

Cons: Cold food, non eng speaking staff

Great authentic Vietnamese flavour

Excellent vegan-friendly options at this pleasant little place in Puchong. Here at Mimi Nguyen they do a great job with vegan recreations of popular Vietnamese dishes.

The bun bo hue is a tasty noodle dish with round laksa-style rice noodles, mock ham, meatballs and beef slices in a lemongrass infused broth. The pho comes very close to the conventional version, with flat rice noodles, assorted mock meats and tofu in a broth made with traditional pho spices.

Most regular Vietnamese restaurants only offer a pho chay made with basic vegetable broth as their meatless option so it's really nice to be able to enjoy 'proper' pho flavours without animal products.

Another vegan dish I really like here is the banh xeo, a crispy crepe made from rice flour, coconut milk and turmeric, filled with bean sprouts and tofu. This comes with lettuce, cucumbers, herbs, dipping sauce and rice paper you soften in water for making mini wraps. Delicious.

I didn’t care much for their desserts but would happily come for their main dishes. The staff are also very helpful and friendly, which is always a plus.

Pros: Authentic flavours, Friendly and helpful staff

Finally, vegetarian Vietnamese food!

They had vegetarian pho which I was so excited about and the portion was huge. Took a good 20 minutes to finish it off. The restaurant is really nice to spend time in as it has a blind to keep out the sunlight and some interesting wall paintings. There is a lot on the menu and the stuff we ordered was all excellent, including the coffee (really worth trying). Definitely somewhere we will revisit. Highly recommended.

Pros: Big, affordable portions, Great coffee, Decor is really cute

Cons: Economy rice was not that economic, Pretty steep steps to walk up

Authentic Tasting Vietnamese Food

Totally enjoyed all the dishes I had here.

I wrote to them to ask if they were vegan and this was the reply: Hi yin ..we don use milk n cheese in my dishes ,but egg if Cust order just have only ,if no order don have any egg in the meal ,thanks

When I went there, I explained to them I'm vegan and I don't want any egg or dairy, and they said all the dishes are vegan.

I use to travel regularly to Vietnam so this reminded me of all the food I had there.

Pros: Authentically Vietnamese

Cons: A bit too much mock meat

Delicious food

Food is delicious. Waiters seem to be Vietnamese (did not confirm with them). Traditional Vietnamese food is served.
