Vegan meatballs - Edit
I never thought I would go out to eat meatballs, but I really enjoyed it. I tried the three different vegan meatballs, and I think the veggie meatball was my favorite. It was a lot of food, and I was glad that I only shared a side.

Best vegan meatballs I’ve ever had! - Edit
I’m incredibly picky about my meatballs but the Wonderball are the best vegan meatballs I’ve ever had! They’re the closest I’ve had to my mom’s meatballs since going vegan. Portions were just the right size as well.

horrible impossible burger - Edit
literally don’t order it. they have several vegan options and i got an impossible burger, it was bland, cold, and even had it been hot it wouldn’t be good. the brussels were okay. i would literally rather not eat than order this burger

Good Experience - Edit
I’ve requested delivery several times (2020), and my food has always been hot upon arrival. The meatballs are filling with decent flavour and texture—however, the vegan sides could use some improvement for the price.

Great vegan options - Edit
They have three vegan meatball options. I loved the potato one. They have a nice cilantro dipping sauce with a kick. Pasta is vegan, too. The impossible burger my son loved, I felt like it was alright, nothing special for the $14 price. Went on as Monday during the day and service was great and attentive. Went on a Saturday night and lot eaters were empty for some time and our server ONLY came back during dinner once to give us our check so we paid by the time we were even halfway through our meal.

Hearty Well marked options - Edit
I’ve eaten at two of their locations and have not been disappointed. They list their ingredients well, including drinks so you know you’re not getting a cocktail with honey. Has a nice upscale ambiance. I’ve tried all 3 vegan meatballs and both vegan sauces. The black bean quinoa meatball with spicy cilantro was my fave.

Surprisingly good - Edit
I never in a million years thought I would eat at a meatball restaurant. This one actually has three vegan meatball options as well as two sauces and three sides. It's kind of a hike from the tourist area, but Massachusetts avenue is fun to explore on the way.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan items on menu, Outdoor seating, Pleasant staff

Great balls of Vegan - Edit
Visiting Indie, I did a little research here on happy Cow and this is one of the things that I added to my must do list. The décor was much more upscale than I thought it would be, that was a nice surprise, the other nice surprise was a decent wine list after a long and hot day a glass of chardonnay was a welcome friend.
Read moreAnyway, I ordered the vegan meat ball sliders with the marinara and the cilantro sauces, potatoes, and brussels sprouts. They were out of the wonderballs that day so I was a little disappointed, but I love hearing that vegan options are sold out that means veganism is gaining more ground! Anyway. My server brings me my sliders with bread instead of a bun as the buns are not vegan. I was very appreciative to her attention to detail. The cilantro sauce was spicy, flavorful and I wanted more!!! it was seriously good. The marinara was good, but I wished I had ordered 2 of the cilantro. the potatoes were super boring and bland, but the brussels were great!
Our server was attentive and as I stated earlier remembered the details and substituted the bread so that I didn't have accidental dairy. Thank you Indie for a place I will look forward to visiting on my next trip.
Pros: Awesome staff
Cons: Sliders do not list the buns as having dairy

Amazing taste. There are 3 vegan options for the meatballs and lots of sides options. The spicy cilantro sauce was delicious -and yes- on the “spicy. They have icons specifying dishes. Highly recommended.

Meatless meatball heaven - Edit
I ordered The Juggler which comes with 3 wonderball meatless meatballs on a pretzel bun with marinara sauce. Wow!! It was fantastic. You would never know it wasn’t meat. While waiting for my food, I got to talking with the chef who was super friendly and genuinely cared about their food and business. I thanked him for offering such amazing vegan options. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Indi!

Amazing meatballs! - Edit
We tried the 3 vegan meatballs, Veggie, Black Bean Quinoa, and Wonderball with marinara sauce and spicy cilantro and they were fantastic! Totally unexpected. We had the Dempsey (3 vegan meatballs on a baguette) sandwich and the 4 Ball variety, fried potatoes, and salad. We were surprisingly pleased and we'll be back when we're back in town!

Tasty meatless balls - Edit
I had the veggie ball slider and the wonderball. Both were delicious. My husband even had to double check that his wonderball was indeed vegan it looked and had such a meat-like texture. The fried Brussels sprouts were also delicious. Non-veg family enjoyed their conventional meatballs, too, so it’s a win for everybody. Sliders start at just $3.50 and there are also several other vegan sides like mashed potatoes. Our server also mentioned there’s a whole separate line for preparing the vegan food. He was very knowledgeable on the subject.
