Amazing vegan fish and chips - Edit
Loved the texture and taste of the banana blossom fish (maybe adding some nori sheets for a fishier flavor would have been even better, but still so tasty!). The fish and chips came with a vegan tartare sauce, which was also delicious. The vegan bean pie was good as well! Can recommend!

Great vegan takeaway options - Edit
Loved that I was able to get a vegan version of fish and chips whilst on holiday. The "fish" was made from banana blossom. It was delicious with the crispy chips, vegan tartare sauce and ketchup. They have several other vegan options too which was great to see.

Disappointed - Edit
I was excited to find a fish & chips that sold vegan options. The choice of vegans option is pretty good. I ordered 2 x banana blossom & chips, 3 x pies and chips, 3 X gravy and 1 x mushy peas. The chips were soggy and It was hard to find the banana blossom in the batter, there was a few strings of banana blossom amongst the batter. The pies where slightly under cooked, and small in size, the chip portions are small. The weight times are ridiculously long for such a poor experience, would I return, no.

Lovely “fish” & chips - Edit
A lovely find less than 10 mins from where we were staying. Shame we waited until the last day of our holiday to try it. The banana blossom fish was very tasty, not too much seaweed flavour.

Amazing vegan options - Edit
This little place was a real find! We tried the battered banana blossom as it was absolutely delicious. Very subtle flavour and tasty, crispy batter. They also serve it with their home made tartar sauce which is vegan. The other vegan options included sausages and many different types of pies. The owners were really friendly too and gave up some great tips for places to visit whilst on holiday.

The best vegan-friendly chippie I've had - Edit
All through our Welsh road trip I kept stopping at beaches that would be perfect, if only... I could enjoy them with a banana blossom fish and chips. Oddly specific, but that's the thought they inspired. Well, I had to wait until I got to the other side of Wales to have that fish and chips, by which time I was nowhere near a beach, but it was still delicious! They have so many vegan-friendly options but the banana blossom fish and chips is delicious. Is it health food? No. Did I need this in my life? Yes. So many times places don't bother seasoning the banana blossom at all but this was to perfection. No salt needed, just a squeeze of lemon and the tartar sauce was great too.
Read morePros: delicious fish and chips, well seasoned, other menu items like pies and sausages and gravy, nice roadside location

Worth a trip! - Edit
Absolutely excellent vegan fish & chips, along with numerous pies, Quorn sausage, vegan peas, gravy, and baked beans, etc. Plenty of outdoor seating and a playground across the street. This place was a massive hit with the whole family. If you need another reason to visit Milton Bridge, it's just half a mile from Carew Castle, and about ten minutes from the amazing Pembroke Castle.

Amazing Vegan options - Edit
We stumbled upon this place by pure chance and I was fully expecting to make do with the back up pasty I had with me while everyone else tucked into their chip lunches, could not have been more wrong, literally have never seen more options for Vegans in a chip shop,
Read moreUnsure of what to do with many choices I asked the very helpful staff which was the most popular and was very happy with the pie.
By pure chance bumped into the lovely lady who owns the place while walking our dog and she explained that the batter was all made on-site and it was gluten-free as well…all 3 of our party who had the batter said how wonderful it was..
Pros: Sooo many options, Gluten free for those who need it

Best Vegan Fish and Chips we’ve had! - Edit
We have samples vegan fish and chips from all over the UK, from the highlands of Scotland to Blackpool and this is by FAR the best vegan fish and chips we have had. The banana blossom with the addition of tarter sauce and the fact they offered vegan gravy was a bonus! My fiancé has the soy mince pie and was very pleased.

Vegan fish! - Edit
Great little find of a fish and chip shop with a whole board of vegan options cooked in a separate fryer. The staff were really friendly and we felt well catered for. I went for the vegan banana blossom fish and chips and my boyfriend opted for the Emperor pie (tasted just like Chinese curry). Portions were really generous and we were both bursting when we'd finished! Would definitely go again.

Good vegan cod - Edit
We had the vegan cod and chips and it was tasty. We also ordered the vegan sausage and they gave us the pork ones, so we weren't overly happy about this. Luckily, I noticed before I ate one. It could have been a miscommunication but if you have vegans buying vegan food, probably wise to ask before assuming they want a pork sausage!

Great for vegans - Edit
Great choice of vegan pies (I had the Drunken Mushroom) and even vegan fish (banana blossom) in batter. Cooked in a separate vegan fryer. Chips were lovely. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Speedy service and very reasonably priced (no mark up for vegans - very refreshing!). Can’t recommend highly enough. This place is deservedly popular at busier times (6-7pm). Could only award 4 stars due to Happy Cow’s policy on places offering non-veggie options.

Generous portions, perfectly cooked, speedy service, felt super nostalgic! Collected takeaway from this rural fish and chip shop on the last night of our Pembrokeshire holiday and it was one of the best meals we ate the whole trip!

Firstly, I would have given 5⭐ but the app won't let me due to it not being a fully vegan/veggie place (please remove this feature Happy Cow!!) After seeing all the glowing reviews we went and tried it out today, and boy were we happy! The banana blossom fish is so delicious, and a massive portion! We had the Quorn sausage too which was nice and curry sauce on our chips. Highly recommend going here!
