NO LONGER VEGETARIAN - Edit
Bone broth was on the menu for a beverage. I notified Happy Cow. I emailed the cafe and hopefully they will remove it but if not this place needs to be removed from Happy Cow as all vegetarian

I go here like every week it's great - Edit
This is the best place for vegans in the LYH area without a doubt. I've been here often in the last year or so and ordered almost everything on the menu at least once. The best smoothie is The Basic with chocolate plant protein, and ask them to add cacao.
Read morePros: Mostly vegan, only a few are vegetarian, Everything I've tried is delicious, Kombucha on tap
Cons: Kinda pricey but it's worth it imo

Tons of options in a huge store full of great stuff - Edit
The cafe is a cute little thing inside a huge health food type store with tons of great options. Cool to find something like this in southern VA. Would certainly return if I came back to Lynchburg. A bit expensive given slightly small servings, but serviceable as a light lunch. The açaí bowls are amazing!

Great find - Edit
We had walnut meat tacos, two different açaí bowls and the oatmeal. All were delicious! They were so friendly and accommodating. I switched the jackfruit meat with walnut meat with no problems. The restaurant is towards the back of the grocery store called Health Nut nutrition which was a great find in itself. It is expensive with small portions but you know that going in.

Good salad - Edit
I had the half sized spring salad. I thought it was good although a bit small for the price. The front windows face a busy road but parking is actually in back of the building in what looks like a residential parking lot.

Light and yummy - Edit
Food was fresh, light, tasty, perfectly portioned (not too large), and perfectly filling. Indoor and outdoor seating. A health food store connected through a doorway. Staff is friendly. Clean premises.

Booming Place with Awesome Food - Edit
My sister lives at liberty university and she always loves to come here for a wholesome acai bowl. It gets very busy, but the food is prepared fast, efficiently, and tastes delish! Its also right next store to the Health Nut which is an awesome market place for groceries and yummy vegan snacks. They also have a large bulk section too. Overall this place is a cute place to eat at with some friends and family and the food is great!

Not vegan, they serve honey - Edit
Okay place to stop. Nothing extraordinary. Not many options in the area.
Read moreStaff was okay. They were visibly upset when we asked to alter an order, but apart from that they were nice.
The interior was cute and there was ample parking in the rear.
Sadly this restaurant (currently listed as vegan) is not vegan. They serve honey on the 'energy sami'. Very frustrating. We've found this area to consider honey as vegan. Exploiting bees is not vegan whether someone local makes a profit or not.
It was $20 for a sandwich and a smoothie, a little above average price but not much for the area.
Ke'Aloha: ordered this as a smoothie rather than bowl and removed coconut oil (coconut oil is one of two plant oils that are as bad for your health as animal fat, why it's offered at a health food restaurant is beyond me).
Veggie Sami: okay, my partner liked it but i did not. Came with wheat free bread.
There were several wheat free breads, however we did not confirm they were also gluten free.
The straw was made of plant plastic however the take out cups and lids did not appear to be made of plant plastic
Overall it was an okay stop, especially for this area.
Pros: Wheat free bread options , Straws made of plant platic
Cons: Staff doesn't like it if you alter an order , Exploit bees by using honey

Hidden Jem - Edit
I finally found healthy vegan food in Lynchburg! From what I could tell, every item is vegan and nutritious. It’s a little pricey for the portion size, but I’ll definitely be back.

WOW. I wish we had one in my town! - Edit
This place is awesome! I tried my first “Nitro Coffee” and had a curry faux chicken salad sami. Delish! The market attached was really super, too. I’d eat here at least once a week if we had one in Roanoke!
