Was okay. Just okay.

Was okay. Staff were lovely but our chais were closer to warm milk and food leaving much to be desired. The best part was the add on mushrooms. My tip: Go across the road to Fat Beagle and ask for their vegan avocado toast.

Vegan raw cakes and slices

Great selection of delectable vegan slices - I had a delicious lemon pistachio cheesecake and a good oat latte. Loved the sustainability practices too - use of dairy-free milk cartons as takeaway coffee cup trays 💚 Even had some lovely vegan hand soaps/creams in their gift shop including Alive.

Sweet and cute cafe

Cute Café with some vegan options. Vegan breakfast, vegan burger, vegan wraps and vegan raw cakes.
Breakfast until 11 am, burgers until 3pm.
I tried the wraps and a raw lemon pistachio cake and they were really good!

Pros: RAW cake

Vegan options out of stock

Unfortunately the vegan items on the menu were either out of stock or only “winter” menu items. Plant based milk available for coffee and some small sized treats.

not so good vegan bowl

this cafe has few decent vegan options on the menu and in the treats cabinet. the problem is that I had an awful experience because they forgot falafels in my bowl and when I asked the staff I waited over ten minutes to receive the same bowl back (now cold) with burnt falafels (probably done in a rush)

Pros: atmosphere, choices , eco shop

Cons: not proactive staff, service

Average experience

The cafe is set in a lovely garden with a beautiful mural. I ordered an iced latte which came with a straw full of beetroot and when I explained the situation I received no apology and was handed back my drink which I had to explain there was now beetroot in my latte and I was questioned if it was just ice cream I had sucked up?, which it was completely obvious the straw was packed full of bright pink/red pulp. I received a new one after asking, but it was given to me in a smaller version.

Food was okay, but for an individual vegan burger it cost $20, without any sides. The options are simple and if you're hungry you should be satisfied.

I'm not sure if the service we received was due to them being busy, but as one of the places we saw had vegan options we wanted to try them out, but I was disappointed and annoyed particularly after having a straw full of beetroot which should have been cleaned.

Pros: Outdoor seating

Cons: Service

Convenient location to ferry & good coffee & vegan treats

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat before jumping on the ferry. Ordered a long black, soy decaf, and a ‘breakfast bar’. In their cabinet, it looked like they had a few vegan raw treat options, a chia pudding, and a vegan wrap (sold out/not displayed at the time). In terms of vegan options on their menu, it looks like they just have a vegan brown sugar & cinnamon porridge.

Pros: A few vegan raw treats , Good coffee, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Limited substantial vegan options

Nice spot for coffee or a meal

We went there just for coffee so can’t comment on the food but it all looked delicious. They had friendly staff, outdoor seating with heaters and plastic walls to protect us from the wind. Bit difficult to see the sign

Pros: Friendly staff , Nice food selection can be vegan I es

Cons: Signage could be better, Would have liked vegan options listed

Delicious surprise in Penneshaw

Came here for breakfast prior to catching the ferry. Although there was nothing specifically vegetarian or vegan on the menu this day, they were totally flexible and whipped up a delicious vegan breakfast in no time! Mushrooms, avocado, hash browns, tomatoes, spinach and beetroot hummus. An oat milk coffee finished the meal off nicely. I also noticed a vegan treat in amongst the cakes. Definitely worth the visit.
