First rate vegan experience - Edit
Mildreds is a vegan’s delight, just a short stroll from St Pancras. Staff were wonderful, food was varied and tasty, excellent choice of wines, cocktails, and desserts too. Generous portions (even a glutton such as I could not manage all of the tiramisu). Restaurant is well laid out and beautifully decorated. An oasis in the heatwave, or on any day. You can book online but they keep most tables free for walk-ins.

Scrumptious food. Lovely service. - Edit
I’ve been craving hummus since arriving in London from Los Angeles so when I saw it on their menu, I knew I had to try it. When our lovely server, Nami placed it on our table, I immediately dug in spreading it nice and thick on the warm and fluffy pita bread. What an absolute delight! Then I ordered the Korean fried chick’n* burger with half fries and half sweet potato fries. That just heightened my experience and my tastebuds exploded with joy! Thank you Mildred’s for one of the best vegan meals in London and thank you Nami for the lovely conversation. From Los Angeles to you, you’re always welcome in Southern California anytime 😊😘🌱🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸

Kreative Vorspeisen - Edit
Die Speisen mit viel Augenmerk und Detail zubereitet. Insbesondere die Vorspeisen aus dem Sommermenu haben uns überzeugt. Aber auch die veganen Burger waren exzellent. Leider blieb kein Platz mehr für Dessert.

Lovely place - Edit
I came here for lunch and returned for breakfast. The atmosphere, food, and service were all quite good. For lunch I had a gunpowder bonda and a juice; for breakfast I tried the pancakes and vegan sausage. Though I liked the breakfast, my suggestions would be to stick with their Indian-style food, since that is clearly what they do best.

Some really great dishes - Edit
As we were a group of 13, we ordered most of the starters to share. We enjoyed everything: potato spinach cakes, labneh, gyoza, chickpea panelle, and sweet potato fries. For me, the nachos were a little underwhelming (quite dry without much cheese on top and I wasn't a fan of the sauce). For mains, the southern chicken burger with ranch sauce and the very spicy noodles with tempeh meatballs were both really great. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and quite substantial creme brulee with some shortbread pieces (not the best I've had: the shortbread lacked flavor and was rather hard).

We came for breakfast and had the Kimchi Toast and Banana Buttermilk Pancakes. Both incredible and filling. Wish we found it earlier in the trip so we could've come twice.

Christmas Meal - Edit
Visited here back in December 2021. A few of us went for dinner here on a Sunday evening, and we all enjoyed the food and cocktails. Ideal for a good night out with friends.

Fantastic - Edit
Delicious mango chick'n with a rich and colourful salad and slightly spicy tomato sauce. Amazing pita bread too and nicer beers than you can get in many other British places (my humble opinion as a mainland European). Highly recommend!

went for brunch only. classic breakfast was amazing - everything was seasoned to perfection and the tastes complemented each other so well. the blueberry pancakes were excellent. definitely going back for dinner next time. they also ask about allergies on arrival too which i think it’s great, more places should do that!

Not your run of the Mill(dred’s) - Edit
We popped in for breakfast and weren’t disappointed. Gunpowder toastie and pancakes were to die for and the perfect start of our day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely try to come back again when visiting London.

Great all-vegan food - Edit
I loved how I could order anything off the menu and know that it’s vegan. I went with two friends and we split three appetizers and three mains, and each had a drink and dessert. The meal worked out to be about £35 each, certainly not an uncommon price for a meal in London but still high enough. It was great food, but small portions and not very filling/protein heavy. The dessert was wonderful - definitely order some of you go. I’d happily return to Mildreds, but I don’t see myself going frequently on account of the price.

I had the date praline and the blueberry pancakes. Absolutely loved the fact that they weren't too sweet. They definitely got them right when it came to the flavour profiles. Service was exceptional!

Depends on the seasonal menu - Edit
The menu changes a lot here, which means sometimes the food is good and almost worth the money, other times (in my experience this is more often) it’s underwhelming. Portions can be small too depending on this. It’s usually busy and one can be seated together with other people at a table. Staff can be nice, other staff can be a bit short and show when they are stressed.

Sweet potato curry and southern fried burger. - Edit
Booked tables have 90 minutes longevity which is plenty. Staff very on the ball making themselves available without imposing. Do book to avoid disappointment. Managed to get lunch slot at 1130 and ordered cat 1200 which is a more suitable time for us.

Good, not amazing - Edit
I do like mildreds, it's good but it's not the best food. It's a place that was at a time a pioneer of vegan food but has slipped down in my ranking compared to the new places that have opened up. A couple options are great but some are a bit meh. Is a bit pricey but the portion sizes are good

Fantastic vegan breakfast - Edit
We were late for our table reservation after a running from a delayed train through a torrential downpour. We arrived at Mildred's soaked to the skin and apologetic. The staff were totally relaxed and understanding. Quickly seating us and bringing us much needed drinks and brunch. The food was delicious. I had the 'Big Brunch' (house baked beans, vegan cumberland sausage,
Read morescrambled clean bean tofu, slow roast tomatoes &
mushroom, spinach, toasted sourdough) and my husband had the tempeh 'bacon' and avocado bap. We ate every crumb! 😃
Pros: Fully vegan, Fantastic vegan breakfasts, Great atmosphere
