Great Mexican food in downtown Redwood City! - Edit
Few vegan options on the menu. All super tasty! Clearly marked on the menu what is vegan and what isn't. Great Margaritas!

Creative menu - Edit
I really like the artichoke enchiladas and the super bueno bowl. They have a taco as well but I don't like it as much as the others. There's also a salsa trio with chips that's pretty good, or the fresh guacamole (just have to get no cheese sprinkled on top). Huge drink menu but I don't drink alcohol so haven't checked it out

Never liked Milagros even before I went vegan - Edit
They have a cool ambiance but that’s about it. Everything is so overpriced and they don’t have many vegan options. Hard pass.

Creative GF friendly Options and Margaritas - Edit
Artichoke enchiladas, Super Bueno bowl are two entrees I like. Super creative and the vegan options are gluten free friendly. The super bueno bowl comes loaded and has sweet potato, kale, avocado, quinoa and more.
Read moreThe atmosphere is fun, very lively and great drinks. Plus a huge patio. It’s also friendly for going out with kids. They don’t have a problem modifying the kids meal burrito to be vegan

A couple of tasty options - Edit
Milagros has a nicer atmosphere, almost like an upscale chili’s. The vegan options were well marked. The guacamole and salsas were good, and the cauliflower tacos were pretty tasty. One of the few places in Redwood City that make it easier to go out to eat as a vegan.

Tasty enchiladas, a little pricey - Edit
Their menu has vegan items clearly marked with yellow V's.
Read moreI got the artichoke enchiladas which have garlic roasted artichoke hearts, kale, quinoa, potato, toasted pumpkin seeds, cashew crema, rancho sauce, rice and black beans. I thought it was really good but not quite what I had expected. I thought they would use some kind of vegan cheese in the enchiladas, but they're just stuffed with the artichokes and other ingredients, and it has the cashew crema drizzled on top as the "cheese".
This is a nice sit down restaurant, the waitress I had was excellent and the atmosphere is dark but fancy. This would be a good place to out go with friends for dinner. I ended up paying about $20 total for my enchiladas ($14.95, + tax was about $17, plus tip made it $20). I did really like the food but because of how high the price was I don't think I'd go again unless it's for some kind of special occasion... or if someone else is buying😉
Pros: Multiple vegan options clearly marked on menu, Good wait staff, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Expensive

Fantastic vegan options - Edit
My experience at Milagros has always been great, the menu has clear labels for vegan and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Their chips are addicting too!

Tasteless and not authentic - Edit
They use minute rice. How can a “Mexican” restaurant not have a chef that knows how to make basic rice? I got the vegan enchiladas plate and everything was obviously from a can. The only good things that are even slightly authentic are the salsas that are served with chips and the guac. Do not go here if you’re looking for good Mexican food.
