Flavorful but no protein - Edit
There is a limited vegan menu. I wish there was an option with some more protein. We ordered the cauliflower tacos and cactus tacos, which was very unique and I was pleasantly surprised. You need to specify vegan because the rice is cooked in chicken broth otherwise. Unfortunately, vegan cheese is a significant surcharge in my opinion ($2.69). At the top of the vegan menu, it says ask for corn tortillas. I asked the waitress to clarify if they mean that’s how you make it vegan or it’s an option. She said very confidentially that it’s an option, but I would confirm just in case.

Really flavorful Mexican food - Edit
Went with my parents who eat vegetarian, I’m vegan. Tons of vegetarian options, a bit less vegan (rice has chicken broth fyi). Jose, the manager, came out to help us and he knew everything about what was vegan or not. When in doubt, ask for Jose 🤣 We really enjoyed our food, the portions were huge, and the grilled mushrooms (I got the tacos, my mom got enchiladas) were to die for. They also gave us a side of grilled veggies in place of rice (again - has chicken broth! Don’t touch the rice!). Everything was delicious and very flavorful. The place is really cute and nicely decorated as well.

Worth a Look - Edit
Walked in on a Monday evening around 6pm and got a table straight away. Informed our server that I was vegan and he advised what I could and could not have - including things I was expecting to be vegan like rice (cooked in chicken stock) and dressing (contained honey) and ended up with a half bean burrito in tomatillo sauce and salad on the side. Food was tasty enough and sensible size portion and came out really quick.

portobellos mmmm - Edit
Straightforward, fast and friendly service, freshly made plates. Got the MOAB burrito - asked for no cheese - and portobello fajitas (by standard it comes with no cheese or sour cream, but my beans did have a few sprinkles of shredded cheese just on the top so be sure to ask for no cheese at all)! Great medium spicy fresh salsa and chips come to every table. In the mild weather the front part of the restaurant is only partially heated - not a prob for us but saw others concerned about the cold.

Bustling, popular place, vegan and vegetarian friendly - Edit
Super busy restaurant with friendly staff and colorful, casual decor. I had the veggie fajitas - hold any potential cheese or sour cream - and my husband had a vegan burrito. We loved our meals. Not oily and very fresh. Did not come with any guacamole so if you want that you have to pay extra for a little mini cup of it. Great salsa. I would return if in Moab.

Filling and Delicious - Edit
The menu has several vegetable options for tacos, burritos, and fajitas that are easily modified with cheese left off. I ordered the M.O.A.B. Lite (Mother of all burritos half portion), which was still a huge burrito with vegetables, beans, and rice and a gorgeous salad on the side. My whole family loved this place and our excellent server Michelle. We would definitely return!

Fresh food with vegan options - Edit
Great service and very fresh food. Green salad, for instance, had two vegan dressings and jicama, nopalitos and spinach not typical in Mexican restaurants Answered all question to make sure I was comfortable with food. Brought me tomatillo sauce not on menu.
