Vegan section on the menu. Tasty - Edit
There IS a vegan section on the menu, and there are 5 vegan main courses (109-123 TL).
Read moreWe tried 3 of them and all were nice (lasagna, quesadilla, buddha bowl).
The are several restaurants of this chain around Istambul which I find convenient.
But strangely they do not have plant milk for coffee.
Pros: Separated vegan section in the menu, Several restaurants, Big cosy space
Cons: Maybe more expensive then some vegan places

A View and A Few Options - Edit
The main draw of this place is the view in the back area, which is admittedly quite nice. It's a pretty run-of-the-mill non-veg place otherwise. The menu doesn't have any specifically vegan or vegetarian sections, but there are a few veg items on the menu (they do notate allergens, etc). We thought everything was fine and reasonably priced.

Good sandwich, but why is it on this list? - Edit
Based on this restaurant having a veg friendly rating on here, I made a point of eating here. I have no idea why this place is listed here. If you are right there, then it is a fine choice, but it is certainly not worth going out of your way for. It is like so many other places in the city. Again I am confounded as to why it is on this list. The most ubiquitous food menu in Istanbul seems to be a mix of Turkish food, Pizza, Pasta, Burgers and Sandwiches. You can find this at every other place you walk by. I had a sandwich and it was good, but again, I could have had it anywhere.

Reasonably ok - Edit
Midpoint have a few locations around Istanbul, this one on Istiklal street is pleasant enough and actually not too expensive considering that it's more of an upmarket place.
Read moreThe veg. selection on the menu isn't anything to get excited about however. The selection is typically generic. There is a good selection of Pizzas however, and they're actually fairly decent.
However, I was disappointed by a very dodgy-tasting Bruschetta which seemed like it could have been in contact with some non-veg. In contrast, the french fries seemed fine and tasty.
This place can get very busy since there is a great view of the Bosphorus towards the back, so might be better to avoid at busy times like the weekend.
For a cheaper place with a similar menu, but still good quality, try Tramvay further down the street on the right towards Tunel (try the Arrabiata, order it without Parmesan).
Pros: Good pizzas, Nice view/location
Cons: Can get busy, Veg. status of some items suspect
