Cute cafe - Edit
The soy karaage bowl was nice and fresh which was very much needed. It would be good if they had vegan sweet options as well.

Satisfying plates, but desserts are not vegan - Edit
The lunch plates taste great. The menu makes it clear which are vegan, of which there are three: soy meat karaage (fried chicken), soy meat yakiniku (cooked meat), and soy meat keema curry. All plates come with a decent number of sides, including salad, falafel, and brown rice. I expected lunch to come with a drink, but drinks cost extra. The desserts look awesome, but unfortunately they are not vegan.

Cons: The desserts aren’t vegan, Lunch starts to get pricey if you add a drink

Great place for vegan lunch - Edit
Cafe close to the Nishiki Market that serves vegan / vegetarian plates. They come as a set with a soup and a salad, and are absolutely delicious. My favourite was the soy yakiniku plate.

The lunch menu isn't good - Edit
The food is really quiet bland and unseasoned and not worth the price.

They don't have soy milk, but they do have ambience - Edit
The presentation of the yakinu plate was beautiful and the flavour was the perfect balance of sweet and savoury...bonus view of a zen garden! Beautiful building and atmosphere. No soy milk but I there are other options nearby for coffee.

Delicious and filling food, reasonable prices, beautiful space, lovely people. Seems to be popular w locals, so I had to wait a bit (maybe 10 mins ??) but my food and drink came super fast. I'll be back !!

Good healthy vegan options but no sweets - Edit
Good for a hearty and healthy meal.
Read moreThey have a vegan "yakiniku" bowl with miso soup, and a vegan keeman curry set meal (= with rice and salad), a vegan soy hamburger (no bun) set meal and a vegan karaage (fried "chicken") set meal.
They could've easily added vegan sweets and a plantbased milk alternative for the drinks with dairy (like their coffee latte) - but sadly they didn't. Let's hope they add more vegan options to their menu or better yet go completely vegan.
Pros: 4 vegan hearty meal options + quite healthy, Affordable at around 1200 yen a meal , Cosy atmosphere with Japanese garden
Cons: No vegan sweets, No soy option for drinks (not even upon request), Lots of dairy and eggs on the menu :(
