Our “Go to” in Benson - Edit
Although not strictly a vegetarian restaurant ( so Happy Cow won’t let me give five stars)the staff is very accommodating and my wife and I ( both vegan) have no trouble getting a great meal here.
Read moreThe staff was great in helping us order dishes that met our requirements and in suggesting options. Vegan cheese is available!
Although we live far from Benson Mi Casa is a big motivation for making the trip!
Pros: Great food with vegan options., Helpful staff, Generous and delicious servings.

This our favorite restaurant in Cochise County. The food is fantastic and they are very accommodating in preparing vegan options for us.

A little pricey - Edit
Have some choices for vegan if you modify your order. Food was good. Had the veggie fajitas. ...But they charge more for veggies than shrimp or beef. Seems odd to me.

Vegan awesomeness - Edit
We read a Happy Cow review of this place and were impressed. Thought we should try it on our way back to our campsite tonight. Since we were on the road we called ahead for take out. They were very helpful. I ordered the vegan enchiladas with green sauce as mentioned in the review for my husband . And I got the vegan fajitas. I also picked up a menu which didn’t have our selections on it. They actually called me back to inquire if we wanted vegan cheese. When asked if their rice was vegan, they immediately answered No, which was refreshing because it was actually an informed answer which made me trust they knew what vegan meant. When I went in to pick up my food. I thought….we have to come back sometime when we can sit and enjoy this quaint little place. Back to our camper the food was awesome and generous portions. I definitely recommend this place.

6 Stars out of 5 - Edit
This was the oasis I was looking for in a beautiful desert. The two owners greeted me at the end of their shift kinder and with more love than I could have ever hoped for. I had vegan enchiladas with green sauce for the first time in 25 years. I was in near tears it was so good. They were fully aware of vegan needs and more than happy to accommodate. They almost single-handedly make me want to live in this neighborhood. My mouth is watering just thinking about going back tomorrow to try something new.

I would give a 5 stars if Happy Cow allowed it. They only allow four stars when the restaurant is not 100% vegan.
Pros: They can make most anything vegan, They even have vegan cheese! Epic!, This restaurant needs to be cloned.
Cons: Nope

Absolutely Fantastic - Edit
This is my favorite restaurant. They have a vegetarian menu, or will gladly modify any of the items on the main menu. From the outside it's small and easy to miss, but once you get inside you know you're in for a wonderful experience. Open Mon-Fri until 7pm, it is run by a husband/wife team. The recipes have been handed down through the wife's family who ran restaurants in Mexico. Prices are low, and the quality is high. Well worth the drive from anywhere. I have family from Tucson, 40 miles away, who drive here for a meal at Mi Casa. Delicious. I would have given this a 5 cow rating, but the system wouldn't let me because they do serve meat to those that want it.

Cons: Closed on weekends, No margaritas, Tucked away, easy to miss
