Awesome breakfast! - Edit
I came here on both days of my recent trip to enjoy the great quality and large portions. There is a vegan breakfast option on the menu but the friendly staff were happy for me to make a DIY brekkie from various sides.

Metro offers a few vegetarian options and one vegan meal (mentioned here by many other reviewers - Ful Medames). Every now and then you can come across some vegan croissants, but I haven’t seen those lately. Last time I visited they had some lovely raw food cakes. Some of the doughnuts are vegan too, however I have had mixed messages from staff - which ones are vegan and which ones are not.

Lots of seating and dining areas. Were only a few vegan options but what I got was delicious. Coffee was decent. Reasonably priced. Had sweet things in the bakery cabinet also. Would recommend!

Omg the doughnuts are amazing. Caramel, choc, cinnamon and jam are vegan! Also try the vegan eggplant, olive, capers pasta. Be explicit for no Parmesan. It’s not a menu item. They make it special for vegans. The potatoes are amazing. And as is the garlic bread board. They stock just frank items. And the staff are super super friendly. It’s very kid friendly.

The staff were lovely for dinner. J got the veggie burger made vegan and it was suprisngly delicious. Onky restaurant with vegan option. But there is dominos as well near by.

Good spot in Mount Gambier - Edit
Ordered a vegan big brekkie and it was delicious consists of cooked fresh vegetables with sour dough bread. Staff were knowledgable about veganism and had a couple of different options, there was also a selection of different vegan slices seperate from the other baked goods, the bounty slice was pretty good consisted of a chocolate top on what seemed to be a coconut base. Unfortunately the vegan jam doughnuts weren't available, but I was there on a Sunday. Still a very good meal.
