Mestiza es un restaurante acogedor con algunas mesas en terraza pero principalmente interiores. Personal muy amable. Es muy agradable y cuenta con una carta con variedad de comida vegana casera tipo fusión. Todo está delicioso y los ingredientes son de calidad. Me ha gustado especialmente la musaka! La tarta de queso que pedí para llevar y me comí en casa es la mejor que he probado nunca 🍰🤤 A pesar de no ser tan económico como otros restaurantes lo recomiendo, vale la pena probarlo! :)

A must go place in Valencia if you are interested in top vegan cuisine. Offers many classical dishes from different cuisines all adapted to vegan cooking with wonderful flavors. The staff was also very friendly.

If there is only one thing you want to try out in this place, it should be the tacos. The gyozas were good but maybe missing some flavor? The moussaka was BOMB.

We went for lunch after spending some time at the beach, as it is only a 10 minute walk.
Read moreThe restaurant itself had a cozy atmosphere, there is also outdoor seating on the sidewalk of the small and relatively quiet street it is located on. It was not too busy at lunch time on a Sunday, which was really refreshing.
The staff was very friendly and the menus are offered in English and Spanish.
The food was tasty and the selection covered a wide range of dishes from different cuisines. We would have liked to see more vegan versions of typical local dishes as well.

We went there for lunch. Although we didn't have a reservation we could found a seat. They have many different starters, a few main dishes and deserts. Everything is vegan. Both of us had the moussaka (12 euros) which was amazing.

Read moreThey were super friendly and welcoming when they finally opened the door (we were hungry early and it only opens at 19:30 on weekdays). That made it worth the wait! The atmosphere is very pleasant and the area has unique vibes.
The patatas bravas and jackfruit tacos were excellent. I didn't like the pad thai as much, but that's only because I could feel celery a bit too strongly for my liking. Next time I'll just ask them to remove it and I'm sure they'll accommodate.

The Starter was the Best - Edit
Right from the start you get tasty olives and the patatas bravas as starter were very good (a bit spicy). Sadly, the Pad Thai had way too much onion, the otherwise a bit bland Greek moussaka was a quite good, unintented contrast. It was okay, but we expected better for the price. We want to come back though and try other options!

The Instagram page and Google state that they are open from 13.30 hours on Saturday and Sunday, but when I sent a message via WhatsApp to book a table they only opened at 19.30 hours. Be sure to check before you go. We had a nice dinner there with 3 shared starters, a shared main course and 2 shared desserts. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant although the music was much too loud. If you sit outside, however, you are on the pavement next to parked cars, which is not very nice, so I would recommend sitting inside.

I went there twice, sat inside during a stormy day (lovely interior) and outside one warm evening. Highly recommend the patatas bravas, they were delicious. I think it's best to stick to tapas, we tried the pasta and pad Thai and they were both underwhelming. I also had the mango mousse for dessert and it was incredible.

Increíble, simplemente increíble. O sea, con las albóndigas casi lloro. Me hace mucha ilusión que hayan sitios plant based así por la ciudad. Desde luego volveré. Nos salió la cuenta por unos 25€ por cabeza, y pedimos dos entrantes, dos tacos, un principal, el lote de postres y dos dobles de Alhambra roja. Nada que objetar del sitio, el ambiente es muy bueno también.

A Day At The Beach - Edit
We'd spent a nice relaxing day at the beach & so headed along here, it didn't open until 7.30 so we walked along the nice street & got a coffee with oat milk. When we got back it still wasn't open & another person was already waiting. A staff member turned up & they told us it would be another 15 minutes, so it seems that times of restaurants is quite fluid in Valencia. The interior was nice, as were the staff. Some dishes were not available which was slightly disappointing, we tried 3 starters, the tostada, mini burger & jackfruit taco, all really tasty. For mains I had the pad Thai & can't remember what my girlfriend had but neither of us were disappointed! As it was my birthday the previous day, and most places were closed then, we went for the trio of desserts. A light lemony mousse, a brownie with raspberry ice cream & a pistachio cake, all top notch. Overall pricey but worth it.
