All the things for less than $21

We shared the vegetarian combination platter with mushroom tibs and buticha (like another reviewer did). It was so fresh and delicious. Easily big enough for 2-3 people. We had two baskets of injera bread and two beers. The total without tip was $35.75. We’ll go again for sure!

Pros: Fresh, Delicious, Plentiful

Cons: None

Some good options!

The vegan yellow lentils and red curry potatoes with the flat sour dough bread are good. Not a must have but good to try!

Many vegan options, helpful service

I had the vegetarian combination platter (all vegan) plus mushroom tibs and buticha. Mushroom tibs are usually one of my favorite vegan Ethiopian dish and this version was lovely. It was my first time having buticha, and I loved the light creamy flavor. The regular combo items were all great, though I especially loved the added items mentioned and was glad I had sprung for them.

My friend ordered firfir, which is not listed on the menu as vegan, but can be made so by asking for injera pieces to be used instead of meat. This is how she ordered it and I am attaching a photo. It was wonderful and I will probably order it next time.

The portions are large and neither of us could finish. I recommend bringing your own containers to avoid taking the single-use plastic they will offer at the restaurant for leftovers to go.
