Serves meat, vegan options available. Burger, fries, salads, and beer. The shoreline burger has a similar taste and texture to beef but made without gluten or animal ingredients and is topped with red pepper hummus, pickled onions, salsa, and sprouts. Get it with a gluten-free bun or lettuce wrap. Reported closed August 2024.

Good Vegan Burger - Edit
This place has an amazing vegan burger, even have option for gluten free bread or lettuce wrap. It has other salad options as well, but the only fully vegan item on the menu is the veggie/vegan burger.

Good for a buger - Edit
If you’re a burger fan this place probably has the best veggie burger in town. You have to specifically ask for their vegan bun, but it doesn’t cost extra. There are a couple menu items that are easy to customize for vegans, but none of them are vegan as-is.
Read moreThey also have a few options for vegan salad dressings (the mustard vinaigrette is delicious) so you can get a vegan side too.
I’m not a big burger guy, but if that’s your jam you will probably really like this place. Service is friendly and professional, and the chef and owner is local. Easy to recommend.

Roasted Avo topping! - Edit
Anytime a burger place clearly labels a menu item vegan, they earn my loyalty. Mesa Burger does this, and then some. I highly recommend getting the toasted avocado topping (and extra pickles), as that brings the fullness of flavors together. Bun is always rightly toasted, patty is firm and comforting, and fries are always on point. Price is high, but not out of range for SB standards.
Read morePros: clearly vegan option, great toppings, nice add ons
Cons: kind pricey

Great place!! - Edit
The Mesa Burger was a great place. The people working were really nice and know what they are talking about! I got a shoreline burger which was amazing. The burger tasted so real, I had to ask them a could time and it was a vegan meat. The burger bun is not vegan so I got it on a sourdough bread and it was great!

Good patty - Edit
Kinda cool surfer style burger joint. the biggest problem is that their bun is a brioche bun, which has an egg white wash on the top to make it shiny or whatever. They said the gluten free bun is vegan but I don't have celiac, and it costs $2 more!
Read morePros: Patty is great, Shoreline burger has a good flavor overall
Cons: Expensive to make it vegan
