Great place - vegan for the animals - Edit
This felt like one of the most "vegan for the animals" places we'd been to in Japan. There are leaflets on benefits of veganism and the staff member told us she was an animal rights activist.
Read moreI wanted to try lots, so I got 4 sides - cauliflower wings (good), potato salad (ok - wasabi warning!), egg sandwich (delicious), and salted bread rolls (AMAZING - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!). My partner had the fried gluten set meal, he enjoyed the gluten and rice but wasn't too keen on the accompaniments so wished he'd also got sides.
We then had absolutely gorgeous and delicious tartlets 😋

One of not so many breakfast options in Osaka. It is a nice little cafe with good service! They have vegan-egg-sandwiches and many sweets. The coffee was good, but if you put in the soy cream it doesn‘t mix so well.

As we arrived in Osaka we headed straight here. Good plan. Excellent service and wonderful food. The salt croissants were like a croissant pretzel hybrid. Delicious. Sushi, sweet and sour cauliflower and a cherry cake were all fabulous. Highly recommend

Good food but kind of frustrating after 2PM - Edit
Arrived at 2:30, and according to the menu all that is available is the take out stuff. Okay, we think we’ll get takeaway, but they seat us.
Read moreFrom the menu, the time shows takeaway is our only option, so I order the lunch box, yet they say I can’t get that because it’s takeaway only. So I order something from the lunch menu, but they won’t serve me it because it’s too late now. Okay, so they come back again and tell me they can do the gimbap and I have food coming finally. Meanwhile, the table next to me has the lunch box 🙃
Food is good, it’s just a bit frustratingly arbitrary. Not really interested in coming back at an earlier hour now.

Great variety of vegan options. I have tried their “egg” sandwich, fruit sandwich (pineapple), takeout lunch set, and their “butter” and salt croissants. All of their food was great! It was a bit of a walk from where we were based, but was a nice brunch.
Read moreThey also sell a loaf and a half of vegan bread for, I think 1,000Y? It looked amazing. They have pudding containers and other sweets in the front. Prices on some items are different depending on whether it is takeout or not, and there was a bit of a discount to buy two croissants instead of one (I think 170Y for one versus 150Y each if you get two).
Saw a few tourists there with a very screamy child but that ain’t the restaurant’s fault. It’s a small enough place that it only takes one person to get loud though (and I wouldn’t even call it small inside compared to some other places in Japan lol).
Pros: Lots of options!, Food was varied in flavors and textures

I had the lunch set of a vegan milk tea and ‘egg’ sandwich! It was a great price with lovely service. The cafe is very cosy and great for taking away too. When I paid the hostess gave me a little croissant from yesterday’s bakes which was amazing. Definitely stop by for lunch if in Osaka ❤️

Read moreThe strawberry cream sandwich is the best I've had so far in Japan, the ratio of cream to sweet strawberry is perfect. The bread was soft as well. I loved it!
I also got the "egg" sandwich was also great. It had a nice texture and subtle flavour.
Highly rate this place and would recommend to anyone who wants to try a vegan version of the fruit sandwich. I'm still thinking about it weeks later! Drool!

Avoid breakfast menu. Go straight for the cakes if you visit in the morning. I chose plant based toast from the breakfast menu and it was literally piece of plain bread with small bowl of olive oil and nothing else 😀 The fruit cake and pumpkin Mount Blanc we had from the desserts menu were nice.

I got here around 14:30 (I think they are open until 17) but I didn't know thay they don't setve lunch after 14:00. I was able to try the last "egg" sandwich and it was pretty good! I wanted to try the cream-strawberry sandwich but there was none left 🥲. I wish I can return here in the future and try the rest of options.

Stopped in here for lunch after exploring Osaka castle. I had the gimbap and fried katsu set lunch which was delicious and filling. Also indulged in some chocolate cake which had a lovely texture. We came here for breakfast on our last day in Osaka and we wish we’d visited earlier! The egg sandwiches and homemade bread was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We couldn’t resist getting a couple of cakes (pictured) which were the nicest sweet treats we had over the course of our two weeks in Japan. Definitely make time to give this place a visit!

A nice little all-vegan place with a slightly inconvenient location, in a quieter part of central Osaka. Modest-sized menu with a good selection of healthy options. Owner is kind and speaks English well.
Read moreI had the "curry" which was really more of an assortment of rice, salad, veg/pickles, and fried soy meat in a nice sauce. It wasn't really what I expected, but it was very tasty, and I'd still recommend it. They also made a really good cup of coffee.
Their main claims to fame are their vegan egg salad sandwiches and their baked goods, but unfortunately they were sold out of both when I visited. I hope to come back and try them the next time I'm in Osaka.
