5 stars!! So good - Edit
I was not expecting it to be this tasteful! It was not that expensive either (1350円 extra noodles for 150円). I am soo glad i found it. I wish i could give this a 5 star because it deserves it.

Reeeeally tasty tantanmen - Edit
I strongly agree with the other reviewers, this tantan was really delicious. Beats the other popular choices like T's by miles.

Surprisingly good - Edit
We had the vegan tantan ramen, and the flavor was really nice. I was surprised by the depth of the flavor, and the slight sweetness to the broth. It's quick service as well, so it would definitely work if you're on the go.

Good, and quite spicy tantanramen - Edit
The place has a different vibe than a normal Japanese Ramen. But offers interesting options, plus 1 vegan option, but with two versions, one with soup and another without it. The ramen is good, a but too spicy for me, but to be fair I never remembered to ask less hot, lol.

Fast and good - Edit
Small restaurant in a mall. After ordering on the machine, we got our food pretty fast. Especially a good place if you like your Ramen a bit spicy.

Delicious! - Edit
Really good. Hard to find a vegan ramen that isn’t just a watery soy sauce soup. This was spicy and creamy and lovely!

!!!!!! - Edit
This may have been the best bowl of ramen I had on this trip. Ordered the tan tan and it was amazing! Was having some issue with the machine outside of the restaurant taking my money when ordering but you can always order with a human if you have that problem.

Vegan ramen - Edit
On the 7th floor of My Lord food hall. You order your dishes at a machine at the entrance before seating. They have two vegan options, both ramen—one with soup and one without. We tried the one with soup. It can be a bit tricky to slurp, but it was manageable with chopsticks. You can also request an apron. The place feels authentic, and the food was tasty, with a lot of peanut flavor and a bit spicy.

Looks great but vegan was unavailable - Edit
The ramen looks great and there were interesting non-vegan options for others in a group like the matcha ramen. Unfortunately both vegan options were sold out when I visited in a group, so couldn’t eat anything. Hopefully it was a one off.

Rich and Tasty Ramen - Edit
I was a bit apprehensive trying the Mensho San Francisco vegan tantanmen, as I usually would prefer to support fully vegan businesses, and more and more ramen shops are popping up all over Tokyo, and especially around the Shinjuku area.
Read moreBut, oh, am I glad I had it! I would say that right now, it's my favorite ramen in Tokyo yet!
My husband and I both ordered the soup ramen from the machine at the front and got seated at the counter. We asked for no onions or green onions on mine, and the staff was more than happy to accommodate us. And then the ramen came! It was so rich and full of flavor, and so soooo good! I am a bit nervous to even try any other ramen around now.

Lovely Vegan Ramen - Edit
Had a number of vegan ramens while in Tokyo and can pretty much safely say this was the 2nd best one we had. No vegan sides which was a little disappointing, but appreciated a non vegan restaurant with a vegan option.

Great ramen experience in Shinjuku station - Edit
Located on the 7th floor of My Lord in Odakyu Shinjuku Station.
Read moreOffers two vegan labelled tantan ramen (with or without broth). Some basic vegan side dishes are also available to order.
Broth is very flavourful and rich, not too spicy with lots of toppings including soy mince.
Counter space is spacious, so dont worry if you get seated at the counter. Easy order and to pay at the vending machine outside store (English language available).

Got the spicy ramen and it was amazing!!! They were able to make it without onion and garlic which was great! It wasn’t too spicy, one of the best ones I’ve had in Tokyo!

Yummy ramen, would go again! - Edit
I got the vegan noodles in ‘soup’. It was close to closing and they stopped food orders 30 minutes before closing, so I just managed to get there in time. Staff were friendly and efficient.
Read moreRamen came quickly as did drinks. Ramen was smoky, creamy, rich and lots of umami flavours.
Ramen was topped with some chopped nuts, dried onion, green garnish, spring onions, chopped white and red onions. Meat substitute in a little pile in the middles. Actual noodles were good too and probably the best ratios IMO of noodles to broth I’ve had so far in Japan.
The restaurant is very clean, has explanations on the walls about where they source some ingredients and as per Happy Cows description, does feel like an chain that originated in America but lots of locals and no other tourists, so must be good!
The bowl just seemed to keep going and when I thought I was almost done due to its workout bowl I realised I had a bit more :D
My partner had a meaty dish and extra noodles were only ¥150.
You order food and drinks on a giant touch screen and pay just at the front door and then take a seat and hand staff your ticket.
Also found on 7th floor (as a little tricky to locate) but good signage in the lifts.
Overall really nice, would go again.
4 stars as only one vegan options.
Pros: Great flavours, Really nice restaurant with bar and table seats, Meat options for people you may be with
Cons: Only one option (with or without ‘soup’/ broth
