Good food, friendly staff.

Really lovely authentic food and friendly staff. However, slow service and no VAT receipt as they are not registered and their card machine did not work due to poor internet connection. Instead of helping me pay they were more concerned with answering the phone to take orders. Hence 2* 😣

Pros: Vegan options. Beautiful Food. Friendly Staff.

Cons: Card machine did not work. No VAT receipt. Slow/ z

Excellent

Love Mendi but a bit of confusion with some of the dishes. We were told were vegan but it turned out they were not. Have to be very cautious now but nonetheless very enjoyable traditional cuisine.

Pros: Tasty, Friendly , Family run

Cons: They work too hard!! , Some issues with allergen info

Perfect restaurant

Our first visit, as a family, to Mendi Restaurant of Droitwich. We went on the recommendation of a friend and after seeing the positive reviews left across the internet. This was one of those occasions where you really have to ask yourself, "why have I not been here before?" The end to end experience at Mendi was simply exceptional and without fault. We booked the day before and this was easy as well as straightforward. On arrival we parked in the customer car park at the rear of the building and this was well lit as well as clean. The welcome we got when we walked in was just like coming home to a dear family member who we had not seen for ages. Once comfortably seated, the excellent table service commenced. Our starters arrived swiftly and were delicous. Following a perfectly timed gap, our main courses came and were cooked to perfection. In addition, some of the family asked for "tweaks" to their food and Mendi's excellent chef happily obliged. Our time in Mendi came to an end all to quickly and after paying a very reasonable bill, we were sent on our way as friends of the Mendi family, not as customers. Mendi is a real gem of a restaurant, serving excellent food at very reasonable prices. Combining all of this with truly outstanding service, made my Mother's 79th birthday a perfect experience. Thank you to all at Mendi and we are really looking forward to seeing you again, very soon.

Pros: Family Run, Excellent Food, Warm & Outstanding Service

Best indian food we have eaten for a long time, if not ever.

Very friendly, family run restaurant. Superb food. Diners should seek out this place, even if they are not vegetarian, just to experience what indian food should taste like. The flavours and textures are exquisite. And guess what ? The prices are very reasonable. Easy to get to, (Junc 5 on the M5) and worth the drive.

Pros: Superb food., Good ambience. Friendly staff/owners, Sensible prices.

Cons: Need to remember to take your own alchohol.

fabulous place to eat

I have called in to this place as it's literally just off the M5 junction 5 Droitwich - meat free - and staff are happy to help you choose meals (I've taken mine out ) have all been excellent. Please don't bypass this place it's right on the middle of a Macdonalds and a harvester - but it does the best food out of all of them.

Pros: great food, lovely staff, location

Cons: gotta practically pass the dreaded golden arch to

Absolutely brilliant!

5 of us adults and one toddler went this evening, food was absolutely delicious and even the meat eaters loved it! Only one of us was vegan but it was no trouble for the staff, they were very accommodating and understanding. The owner was also brilliant with the toddler and made sure he was well entertained and fed. Overall a superb experience and will for sure be going back!

Pros: Great food, Friendly staff, Atmosphere

Cons: Don't serve alcohol (but minor con)

I'm so happy I went to this very nice restaurant with excellent service and food! It's quite a ride to get there but totally worth it!! Nice relaxed ambience, very friendly reception and service and deliciously authentic food from northern India!
Catering for my vegan diet was made super easy for me so that's a HUGE bonus!! Eat - sleep - repeat :)

best Indian restaurant ever.

Must have eaten here ten times at least now and eaten every dish on the menu. Haven't had a bad one yet. Family and staff give a faultless service (special mention must go to Ryan whose skill as a waiter belies his years). Cannot fault this place.

Pros: service, food, mango lassi

Cons: none

The best Naan ever & the best Mango Lassi..

I've eaten at Mendi twice so far, having only recently discovered we have a totally vegetarian restaurant in the area.. Yippee!
The freshness of the vegetables, lightly cooked, ie not sitting in pans as with most Indian restaurants I know, waiting for a customer to order, makes all the difference.
I believe they use organic food where possible too. Good menu, lots of Paneer choices. Truly the very best Naan and Lassi Ive ever had. very modest prices too. Lovely Chai.
A small, friendly restaurant run by a very charming family, everyone is seemingly roped in to help.
Great position right next to junction 5 of the M5, in front of a Harvester pub and Holiday Inn Express. I can't bring myself to say its next to a Macdonalds! But it is...

Pros: Individually cooked to order so FRESH, Organic ingredients where possible, Very friendly, attentive service

Cons: I wish they'd opened years ago!
