Amazing Japanese food in cute restaurant - Edit
I went here for the first time yesterday and wasn't dissappointed. I love how the chef does everything by himself. He is so friendly! The food was amazing. You can choose a menu, I'd suggest you do the beginners menu, so you can try a bit of everything😄A drink is included in the price and there's free water and tea. Absolutely love this place! (oh and go with an empty stomach, it's a looot of food!)

Amazing Ramen - Edit
Restaurant is operated by the sole chef who greets and serves guests whilst also cooking the meals. Set menu with a few variations on offer mainly around size of main and how many starters.
Read moreI took the "beginner" set menu which had one of every starter and a regular size ramen. On first sight this didn't seem like alot but I was completely full by the end an thankful I didn't order a larger size.
In terms of taste and quality the food was fantastic and not like any ramen I have had before.
Highly recommend this restaurant

Fantastic - Edit
Small restaurant ran by one person only, wonderful experience, unexpected combinations and beautiful presentation. Ramen is not served with a lot of broth, in case thats what you are craving for, but definitely worth your time and stomach! Reservation required!

Phenomenal Ramen - Edit
Small place with a communal dining arrangement and no waste philosophy. Phenomenal ramen - probably the best I’ve ever had. All ramen and starter options are exceptional.

This is a must visit place, rising sky high above all other vegan food places in the city. It's one of the few that has character and is not some commercial cash-grab. And oh my, Su-shi is quite the cute character indeed😄
Read moreDo not under any circumstance let the reservation only policy put you off. Sometimes people cancel, and you can take their place! Just give Su-shi a call. The idea behind reservation only is that only food for people coming is cooked, so nothing will end up in the dumpster.
There is one long table where everyone sits together, but it does not feel intrusive. People sit in pairs of two.
Now for the food: I've tried four out of five versions of the main course, and it's safe to say the truffle option is a gift from heaven. Yummy yummy :DDD The portions should be enough, but if you eat a lot like I do you can get extra food free of charge! amazingordioda!
I put on my critical mind because it was 25 euros after all, and I don't like to spend that much on food, but here it's fine because the food is sooooo good. As I'm writing this I'm thinking about the tasty godness..
Go here, you'll have the time of your life.
Pros: amazingly delicious, good portions, truffle

Leaving a 2 star review on a place you couldn't go to because you didn't reserve makes no sense and is a bit unfair.

The cosy location, the super-friendly chef, the tasty menu... everything is perfect here. The starters were just amazing. The portion size is quite generous, don’t worry about leaving hungry.

Book now! - Edit
This feels like a special meal, it’s eccentric and very tasty. You sit on a long table with others which encourages you to chat to others and share the excitement. The food had layers of flavour especially the ramen. It doesn’t necessarily come in a broth (which I slightly missed and I perhaps ignorantly anticipated) but it didn’t matter. It was a taste sensation. Don’t expect it to be a long meal we finished in under an hour but no one harassed you to leave. It’s very chilled.

Absolutely delicious, full of flavour. The strayed starters were sublime. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. I don't know how he managed to do everything himself and be so efficient and attentive.

The best ramen ever - Edit
The food is delicious, service is amazin! Atsushi (owner) will make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. He makes the food himself (including noodles) and serves (a one-man-does-all kinda place). Not to be missed. Works with reservation only so make sure to book in advance as ir's always full.

Amazing Japanese noodles! - Edit
Amazing food freshly prepared by the super friendly Atsushi, a must visit in Amsterdam!
Read moreTook me a while to be able to book a spot but it was worth the wait!
The menu was a bit puzzling at first. An asortment of starters really means you get all of the options! I opted for the popular starters menu with extra noodles. I got a fresh chefs salad, 2 japanese dumplings, 2 delicious potato mochi and a fibgerliking eggplant miso.
The ramen were beautifully presented but make sure to mix them well. It was very tasty and creamy!
As Atsushi said, even meat eaters like it and I agree it's a great place to bring your friends to experience delicious plantbased cuisine.
Pros: DELICIOUS!, super friendly and fast service, amazing job for this one man business
Cons: reservation only(because noodles are freshly made), bit confusing/overwhelming menu

Delicious food, great experience - Edit
Really enjoyed dinner at Men Impossible during a trip to Amsterdam. My partner and I chose the beginner's plates that came with two chef's starters - a type of pickled cucumber dish and cashew cheese - and a plate of 5 of the main starters. The Japanese dumpling and the aubergine dishes were particularly delicious! We also each got a bowl of ramen, one with the garlic oil and the other with chilli oil. Both were equally amazing in taste and presentation. It's a bit expensive (we paid around 50 euro for two) but definitely worth a splurge.

Super special! - Edit
Amazing restaurant. It has to be impossible that one man can run this restaurant and make this special food. The beginner course menu was perfect for a first timer. The ramen is unlike anything I have ever had (I eat ramen all the time). Wow.

Awesome! - Edit
A unique place and super delicious food. We simply loved everything about this place, one of a kind in Amsterdam. Not very often one comes across a place so sincere in both its concept and quilty of food. A wonderful and easy going atmosphere, the owner/chef is very kind and attentive, one can feel he is all there for the love of Japanse food and sharing it with others. The starters selection is delicious with deep umami taste and so are the Ramens, very flavourful. We tried the Black garlic Ramen and the chili Ramen, both are great.

If I could give Men Impossible 10 stars, I would! This was simply THE BEST meal we had in Amsterdam...and, quite possibly the best vegan meal we have ever had! Atsushi was a wonderful host and chef! The ramen was totally unique, beautifully presented and so delicious. We will be eating at Men Impossible on every trip to Amsterdam. Dreaming about returning already!

Truly one of the best option in Amsterdam - Edit
Men Impossible is, simply put, one of the best vegan option in Amsterdam. Atsushi is passionate and creative and it shows in his food. This is not run-of-the-mill vegan food. It's flavorful and interesting and a total pleasure to eat. One of the very few places in the city where I wouldn't hesitate to bring a non-veg*n friend. Do make reservations as he tends to book up on Friday or Saturday nights sometimes.
