Serves meat, vegan options available. Gourmet sourdough pizzeria offering a few vegan snacks and appetizers, as well as non-dairy cheese on pizzas. Open Tue-Sun 12:00-22:00.
We had possibly the best vegan pizzas we’ve ever tried. Possibly the best pizzas full stop.
We had a “Melværk” sourdough bread with garlic confit as a starter, and then two white pizzas: one with potato and truffle oil, and the other being a seasonal variety with wild garlic oil, porcini mushrooms and roasted yeast flakes. (Both with vegan cheese). Both were far above expectations!
It comes with a price though, and it was a bit of a letdown to hear from the waiter that they do not always have vegan cheese in stock (even though the menu marks which pizzas are veganizable? I guess they just make them without the cheese then?). The waiter was very helpful, however, and even went out of his way to double check a few details about the seasonal pizza to make sure it could be made completely plant based.
All in all, I can highly recommend trying out their pizzas if you don’t mind shelving out a bit more for this gourmet experience, and possible calling in advance to make sure they have the vegan cheese in stock.
However, if you want something a little more down to earth vegan pizza in Aarhus, while still being of high quality, try Piccolina, Il Locale and Fratelli.

Pros: Veganizable pizzas clearly marked, Incredibly delicious, Seasonal variety
Cons: No vegan pizza directly on the menu, Not many vegan options, Uncertainty about vegan cheese being available
