Good coffee, good food! - Edit
Stopped by to grab lunch and work from their patio for a bit. It's a cute space inside and definitely popular - at peak times you'll be hard pressed to grab a table. I got the tofu banh mi which is vegan by default, and an iced dirty chai with oat ( $1 for plant based milk). The banh mi was good though it was on focaccia instead of a baguette. Comes with a good amount of chips, as well. It's a little expensive and I wish there were more default vegan options, but their menu is also pretty small so it's all good.

Melo is such a nice little cafe to visit if you find yourself in the Neighborhood of the Arts. It's about a five-minute walk from the Memorial Art Gallery, and it's in a lovely building.
Read moreThey have a very nice avocado toast on the menu as well as a banh mi. There are also side dishes like fruit that are fresh and tasty, if you want to order food. If you'd prefer just to have a coffee, the iced lattes on a warm day are perfect!

I really am a big fan of this place. Such a cute artsy café that's got excellent lattes. They have an amazing avocado toast, and a Banh Mi that can really hit the spot. They've also started carrying Red Fern cookies, so that's a plus too 😁 This is a great go-to if you are particular about GOOD coffee 🤤
