Visiting Nashville - Edit
My daughter and I chose this place based on proximity to our hotel and the front desk staff’s recommendation. I had the veggie pizza and it was very good. My daughter is not plant based and found some great options too. I will definitely be back next time in Nashville.

Typical mellow mushroom. Good quality pizza with vegan cheese and lots of veggies. They didn’t charge me for vegan cheese!

Good pizza - Edit
Has pretty good pizza. Not the best I’ve had but definitely worth trying. Can get the breadsticks without cheese on them which is pretty good as well. This place is just pricey, and they always seem to get my order wrong. Why can’t you remember to put my broccoli on my pizza and not put it on the side?!? Oh well. 🙂could be much worse I guess.

fun place - Edit
Went with friends for trivia night and had a very good hummus/pita and a tempeh sub. Unfortunately their vegan cheese costs twice as much as their normal cheese and isn’t nut allergy friendly. But I guess we should just be glad it’s there at all! You can make some really cool pies with the amount of toppings they have on the menu. Hopefully they add more options in the years to come.

Best pizza hands down - Edit
We ordered the Holy Shiitake Pie and substituted the cheese for vegan cheese, ditched the garlic aioli, no butter on the crust and asked for the mushrooms to be raw since they are normally cooked in butter and it was amazing. It still had black truffle oil, caramelized onions, olive oil and a garlic base. Hands down the best pizza we have ever had. Will be back anytime we have a pizza craving.

Meh - Edit
I love that I can find mellow mushroom in most places whenever I'm in a pinch. My non-vegan family enjoys their vegan pizzas. But there are a lot better options in this area! Go to Two Boots Pizza. I'm in love with their pizza! Mellow mushroom just seems sort of bland, and they use way too much daiya. The crust is weird too.

Not so Mellow Mushroom - Edit
It's in a busy part of town right on the edge of a large University campus that has another University nearby. The staff is hit and miss, but the pizza is pretty much consistent Mellow Mushroom pizza; not bad, but not amazing. I would honestly recommend going down the road and around the corner to Two Boots Pizza; it's hands down a lot better tasting and the staff is generally friendlier.

Watch out for bad staff - Edit
We eat here a lot, it is our go to when family wants to go out and don't want to go to a "weird" vegetarian restaurant. The vegan pizza is GOOD and they have lots of great toppings to choose from. That being said, the first time we went there after going vegan, when our pizza came out the cheese looked like dairy cheese. I asked the waitress if she was sure it was vegan and she made a big show out of going to the back to check. She assured us it was. Being new vegans and having heard their vegan cheese was really good we believed her and ate it. The next time we came in and got a vegan pizza it was SO obviously not dairy cheese. The waitress lied to us and it was pretty upsetting. It was about a month after our first experience so I didnt' remember her name or I would have complained. Not cool lady. I will not let that one experience ruin it for us because the vegan pizza is top notch, but please beware of uneducated staff.
