Best Vpizza in Town - Edit
I love getting pizza here! I personally get the house tempeh with olives and mushrooms on the red sauce with vegan cheese. So delicious and creamy. They also have some sandwiches that can be made vegan and hummus.

I make my own pizza crust and my mellow mushroom pizza was even better than my homemade! Perfect crust and yummy vegan toppings (vegan cheese, tempeh, artichokes, and carmelized onions)! So good!

I haven't had a good vegan pizza in a LONG time. This satisfied my love for pizza perfectly! It was absolutely amazing. I made my own with herbed- vinaigrette tofu, spinach, and garlic with follow your heart cheese. It was so good! Long wait time when I went but worth it. The small pizza is enough for one person, I couldn't even finish it!

This is much like other Mellow Mushrooms, if you've been to them. A variety of build your own salads, pizzas and calzones, with the option of vegan cheese. Nice place, with very hippie decor.

Yummy Pizza, Considerate Staff - Edit
I always love to eat at Mellow Mushroom. The waiters and cooks are very conscious of veganism and make it a point to show you that there is no cheese on your pizza or butter/parmesean no your crust. The restaurant offers vegan cheese, and tofu/tempeh! Almost everything can be vegan, so this is a great spot to eat at if you have friends/family who aren't vegan.

I live in Lexington, and I love this Mellow Mushroom! It's been here since I can remember. It's right in the center of downtown; having a creative and fun college-life atmosphere. This Mellow Mushroom offers a comforting vibe right when you walk in the door. They have their vegan menu online, and their pizzas taste amazing! Only once was their real cheese accidentally added, but they happily created a new order for free. And most waiters and waitresses know or are aware of the vegan menu too. This place is definitely a favorite place for a Friday night, and just a good vegan-pizza option overall :)!

Normally eating out vegan at a pizza place is almost impossible. Eating here is great. Even vegan cheese happily suggested and used. Great having a real good pizza out and vegan too. Other vegan options like tofu and tempeh sandwiches are great. If close I'm going there again.

Great pizza and more in a restaurant that really understands special dietary needs. The menu and server make clear that vegan and gluten-free stations are separate and clean. They even have gluten-free beers available. Be patient, the orders take time. Great salads!

Thats all I need to say is Daiya. Although they could be more generous with the toppings. Usually lots of cheese and two mushrooms. But delicious regardless. Oh, the hummus is amazing too!

Mellow Mushroom has always been happily accommodating to us as vegans, but now that they have added Daiya as an option, the menu's almost wide open! There's a substitute for almost every kind of meat, as well as a wide variety of fun veggies for pizza toppings. Just tell your server that you're vegan, and they'll make sure the cooks leave off the butter and cheese on the crust. They've never made a big deal about it with us, and in fact encourage us to substitute or change whatever we like!

It also CAN be a little pricey, depending on what you get, but it's the only place in town where you can get a truly VEGAN PIZZA, or even a calzone! Which is awesome. It's a great place to take family or friends, omnivores or veggies alike. Plus, there's ridiculously delicious beer. And the hummus. OH the hummus. YUM.

We have to make sure they know its vegan so butter is added. A no cheese vegan pizza is delicious but at the least it going to cost $16. They have Kentucky Bourbon Barrell Beer on tap!!!Great choices for toppings and fun decor. Quote way too long on carryout and is usually cold.
