Nice vegan pizza - Edit
Shared a vegan pizza with mushrooms, tempe, and jalapenos. It came out really good. The atmosphere was nice, though different from most Mellow Mushrooms I've been to.

Visiting Fort Myers for a week...been here twice so far! Best pizza I've ever eaten. I would have rated it 5 stars but that is reserved for fully vegan restaurants. 10/10

Terrible customer service - Edit
I want to like Mellow Mushroom and I had a few ok experiences, but unfortunately this location is going downhill. I ordered a vegan tempeh hoagie that was delivered to the table covered in cheese. I asked for it to be remade. When is was brought to the table it looked like the kitchen tried to scrape off the cheese. The server removed the item from our check but never offered an alternative. I had to ask for a manager who was very rude and did nothing to make it right. We spent $70 on 2 pizzas and I didn’t eat…. I won’t be back.

I wouldn’t say there’s a ton of vegan options here, especially since most of the signature pizzas have a mayo-based pesto or meat on them, but we got the veg out pizza with vegan cheese and it was very good. The crust is especially nice and the toppings were plentiful. Good selection of drinks. The omnis with us were also satisfied. This place has funky merch as well.

Excellent pizza with some good vegan options - Edit
We each were happy- 1 daughter with build your own salad with tempeh as a topping (tofu also an option)- my other daughter and husband split a veggie pizza no cheese that was excellent. I think I won by getting the veggie calzone without butter or cheese, with a small amount of vegan cheese and tempeh.... crust was excellent! Perfect service and good atmosphere. Only negative is that I would love a vegan sausage or pepperoni option as well (tempeh was a little bland).

this location will veganize the bruschetta if you ask but they aren't super knowledgeable on what is and isn't vegan and will probably have to continue running back to the chef with more questions. the food is okay, not my fav place to eat.

Good option for eating out - Edit
I liked the atmosphere and the food was good. I enjoy the pizza with vegan cheese ("Follow your heart" brand) and you can get it with a gluten free crust. They have several veggie toppings and (regular or flavored) tofu and tempeh toppings. When I let my servers know that I wanted vegan cheese or said I was vegan, they let me know they'd tell the chef not to add butter and parmesan to their crust. So if they don't say something about it then just tell them to leave it off. I had nice waiters and also the Peach Iced Tea was delicious and frothy. I enjoyed it. They also have hoagies where you can add tofu or tempeh too.

While on vacation we dined at the Mushroom once and ordered takeout once, and ordered the same thing both times- a tofu hoagie on multigrain and a tempeh hoagie on multi grain, both with vegan cheese and without mayo to make them vegan. The atmosphere was loud and vibrant, and the service was excellent as folks were attentive and friendly. We were told that the pizza and calzone dough is vegan. When we dined in we easily subbed hummus for feta on the Greek salad to make it vegan- without an upcharge. We added avocado to our subs each time, and while it seemed there was an entire avocado added in-house, the takeaway had only a couple slices. Tofu and tempeh can be added to anything, and there are different preparations (like BBQ or other flavors) for each. We would definitely return if we visit again.
