Good - Edit
Got a build your own pizza with oil garlic base, follow your heart cheese, tofu, roasted tomatoes, banana peppers and basil. Pizza was good, crust was delicious. I would love to try again because there are more vegan options and think you could build a pretty amazing pizza.

I can't stand Daiya cheese. If that's what a pizza place offers, I always get it without any cheese at all and it's delicious. Sorry you got sick. I had to learn the hard way too!

best pizza outside of italy, ever!! - Edit
OMG, after strawberry picking at storm farm we went here. Entrance did not look very promissing, but once you dig into the menu, and ask the super competent staff you know why this is the place to return to any change you get! Vegan cheese, all pizza dough vegan, tempeh and tofu options and great flavour!! What are you waiting for!

SO DELICIOUS - Edit
Came here while visiting Dallas and got the tempeh Hoakie with vegan cheese in the French bread. They got rid of the gross daiya cheese. The lady serving us also knew what vegan meant and was super nice and fast.

Gluten Free & Vegan - Edit
I was super excited to try this restaurant. I had to message them on FB first to make sure that there was not possibility of cross-contamination since I have to be gluten-free. When I received their answer that they have a dedicated area for gluten-free food making - I was ecstatic!
Read moreMy mom and I went there one shopping day and we were so pleased with the ambiance and the food. Our waiter, Spencer, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. That pizza crust, though...was great! I do wish that I had paid closer attention to the price though. I was a little taken back. But eating out is a rare treat for us - so I guess I'm good with that. :)
Pros: Gluten-Free Options, Vegan Options, Great atmosphere
Cons: No vegan desserts, Pricing

great food! - Edit
I loved mellow mushroom because the food was so good. They offer vegan sandwiches, pizzas, and salad. They have some vegan craft beers too. I ordered the Greek salad with no feta and it had a good variety of vegetables. The pizza is easily customizable with choosing your own toppings, they have daiya brand vegan cheese and the dough is vegan friendly. They have a soup of the day that is sometimes vegan depending on the day. The texture of the pizza dough was really warm and fluffy, and super satisfying. I like that I could go here with my non vegan family and they liked the food too. The only con is that the waitress seemed a little disorganized and there was some confusion over who was attending to our table. I would probably still come back because the quality of the food was excellent.

decent place to go with your non-veezys - Edit
Basically, if you need a decent pizza joint that you can eat at with your non vegan friends, this place isn't bad. They have the mega veggie and the Thai dye pizzas. Just make sure you ask for all vegan, bc they will mess up. Happens often.

Pretty good vegan pizza - Edit
Since all my favorite veg*n places were closed today, I found Mellow Mushroom on HappyCow and thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't disappointed.
Read moreWhile there is no "vegan section of the menu" here (as the HappyCow description suggests), the menu does explain that the gluten-free crusts are vegan, and that Daiya vegan cheese is available. (Personally, I prefer homemade vegan cheeses, such as cashew-yeast blends, etc., but since Mellow Mushroom doesn't offer these, at least there's Daiya for those who like it.) I applaud Mellow Mushroom for providing vegan options.
Service was friendly and attentive, and parking was ample.
Pros: Vegan options, including crust and "cheese"
Cons: Serves meat
