Mel is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Tenerife. The food is delicious and everything is vegan! And the price is pretty good too, love the legumes hamburger!

Nice little fully vegan fast food place. They serve a variety of burgers, hot dogs and sides. The burger patties are vegetable-based rather than mock meat. Super cheap prices, but still good quality. Comfortable outside seating.

During our visit, we ordered the legume burger, potato wedges, and a dish that included various extras such as seitan, falafel, tomato sauce, and soy sticks. (~15 €) While we found the burger and wedges to be quite good, we were disappointed with the mix of extras in the other dish. We also had some difficulty understanding the menu and prices for the main dishes, as the language barrier and menu design made it challenging to communicate.

Read moreI ordered a spinach hot dog with vegan cheese and chocolate brownie with icecream. I find the meals to be affordable and flavourful, however they do not make use of mock meats so the hotdogs and patties appear to be falafel time ones which still taste good but I am not sure how much protein is in them.
The staff were friendly. Really liked the chocolate brownie but would have preferred it with the classic vanilla over the hazelnut icecream I had.

I had food here every day while I was visiting Santa Cruz. It’s open all day long and the prices are fantastic. They also make several different kombucha flavours which are delicious. I’d recommend this place to anyone who is busy and in need of a quick snack because you don’t need to book.

Food was very decent and good value. Service was painfully slow as there was only one guy working there who has doing the cooking and serving. While we were eating a few folk came in for their lunch, waited 5-10 minutes to even be acknowledged then left again.

He probado la hamburguesa de legumbres con queso vegano, las papas fritas y el batido de plátano. Estaba todo bastante rico. Además estaba bien de precio. Le pongo 4 estrellas ya que cuando fui solo había una chica trabajando y teniendo que sacar todo el trabajo adelante, deberían contratar más personal.

You get what you expect from a fast food restaurant. We got two burger with some backed potato and croquettes. The latter was nice, but the rest was not that good. The optional cheese on the burger was not melted. The mayonaise had not much tast.
