Not Delishu cheese as in the menu.

The "vegan cheese delishu" doughnut had no Delishu, but a slice of vegan cheese similar to Viofast on top (not shredded and no cream). I expected the delicious Delishu brand... The doughnut is similar to hungarian lángos or a salty version of the traditional doughnut from the south of Romania. I had much better langos. I would rate the langos itself 7/10. Though, it's very very difficult to find good langos. It seems simple to do, but it's not that easy.

It was maybe the rudest employee I've met in a bistro. 30 minutes to closing and he was visibly very upset by our presence. We order take away.

Delicious snack or light meal

I stopped here twice while in Plovdiv and thought it was delicious; mekitsa are fried dough with toppings, and they also sell small dough balls with a few sweet toppings. Most of the mekitsa are vegetarian and several are vegan. They have added a vegan ‘cheese’ mekitsa since the photo of the menu was taken by a previous reviewer, however they were sold out of it when I was there. If you are vegan be sure to ask for the vegan dough as otherwise their dough is vegetarian but not vegan.

Pros: Delicious stop for a snack or light meal, Very friendly staff well-informed about veganism

Great vegan version of mekitsa!

Staff are friendly, and there are alternative milks available. There aren’t many vegan toppings, but I went for the classic with icing sugar, there’s peanut butter and jam and there’s also lutenitsa for a savoury option.

Loved the vegan mekitsa. Had peanut butter and Jam. Not heavy dough and actually really tasty.
There is a menu in English and you can play on card.
