Worth a try - Edit
I would say the food was a 4-5, but the service was 3. The issue is that most of the staff is new, but in that case, maybe ramp up slowly? I hate to be ‘that person’, but waiting almost half an hour to get a waiter to first come and take our order was uncool. And each time we needed something it was long and complicated, despite the friendliness of the staff.

Delicious food, service needs improvement - Edit
Food is delicious. It doesn’t matter what you order, it will be tasty and very, every rich in flavor. Fries are a feast, burgers a blast, bowls and salads a party of freshness. Service, unfortunately, needs some improvements. 30 minutes to have a dessert is too much. The restaurant has to manage a significant amount of take away orders, and the kitchen can not keep up with the orders flow. People at the restaurant wait too long.

Vegan Comfort Food - Edit
We love the MeeT restaurants and this was our first time ordering from the Yaletown location. Our order was ready faster than expected and, as always, everything was delicious. My reason for 4 stars is because the staff member handling takeout was cold and unfriendly. We ordered multiple Mac and cheese bowls to go, and utensils were required. When asked if they were in the bag she said “no” and put our food down in such an exasperated way. This is not the customer service we are used to receiving at MeeT, and hopefully just caught her on a bad day.

Too salty - Edit
I was disappointed, maybe it's me but I found my orders tooooo salty, the bbq burger both times were overwhelmingly salty. The fries were always either too oily, soggy or salty - they are very generous with the portions which is nice, but my taste buds can't handle it. The thai noodles were gloopy and everything stuck together - left most of it unfortunately. The spicy wings were salty again. Poutine was oily and the "beacon" was burnt...
Read moreThe side salads are great if only they weren't drizzled with this really weird sour dressing.
The only thing we liked was the freshly cut carrots and celery. I tried my partners "mighty mac" burger and it was decent - so a go-to if your pallet likes a cleaner taste.
Had the ginger beefless bowl, the first few bites were excellent, the protein was awesome and I loved the ingredients, but, the whole dish was so sugary. The sauce was like thick molasses, if only the ginger was more refined and defined, more powerful and more of it would it cut through the thick sugary "sauce". Had side salad and putting some into the meal did the trick as it was already covered in a vinaigrette of some sort.
Pros: Vegan, vegan vegan and plenty of it!
Cons: Salty, oily, overly complicated.

this location is a let down for sure as the servers truly do not care about you. got qualify checked once by someone who wasn’t even originally our server, i am in the industry and i understand being busy but we felt like a burden to each staff member. FOOD however is always incredible, i would recommend the other locations though.

Gas Town is worth visiting as a tourist and this small restaurant is my recommendation for lunch whilst there. I had one of the bowls and tried an ale too, both were great tasting.
Read moreThe service is brilliant, they’re not on top of you too much as you may find in other places but they never left you waiting too long either. As a POC I didn’t feel any micro aggressions or micro invalidations, the staff are polite and seem genuinely happy to be there. Vancouverites, or west coasters in general, have a reputation of being a little less friendly than other peoples of Canada but I didn’t feel that here at all. Easy 5 stars.
Pros: Great and healthy vegan food, Great music, Friendly staff

Amazing - Edit
We went there for my birthday after hearing a lot of good things. The amount of items on the menu was overwhelming. I'm used to going through the menus and selecting that one veggie burger that will be the meat free option. Initially my wife was a bit confused as well and didn't know what she could order but you should've seen her face when I told her that EVERYTHING on the menu was vegan.

comfort foods and desserts - Edit
Big menu to gorge on. Burgers and shakes and pies and fusion vegan food. Heavy on the mayo and fatty things. I had a mushroom burger or something and my friend had a chik'n sandwich. Both were pretty tasty, but the fries were way over salted. Like inedible. More like salt with fries. Anywho, made it aware to the waitress who comp'd us a slice of lemon pie. Crust was on the thick side. But all in all the place is good. Can fulfil your vegan dreams for greasy diner food. A go to place while in Vancouver.

Amazing vegan food - Edit
I've heard so many good things about MeeT, so I had to try it! I am always so overwhelmed with the variety of options I have at fully vegan restaurants. I wanted to try everything!
Read moreThe MeeT burger, topped w sauteed mushrooms, crispy onion strings, lettuce, and tomato in a Kaiser bun and served w salad, fries, and chipotle mayo, was so flavorful and satisfying. 🍔🍟 I also sampled the beer-battered sweet chili cauliflower and oyster mushroom kalamari. These taste better than the real thing!! 😍 I wanted to try a dessert, but was way too stuffed after that.
I'm honestly so impressed by the food at MeeT. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to vegans and omnivores alike.
Pros: Big portions, Huge selection of vegan foods, Great flavor

Legit the best burger I’ve ever had - Edit
This place is amazing! I had the Angry burger and I’d eat it again tomorrow if I could. An omni friend took me here because she said hands down it’s the best cheeseburger she’s ever had and after eating there I know why. At $16 plus I thought the burger might have been a bit pricey but it comes with a huge side of fries AND a salad which I felt made it a really good value. Very highly recommended.

Vegan Poutine! - Edit
As an English girl in Canada I really wanted to try the famous dish of Canada, Poutine! We got the crispy BBQ Burger and upgraded the fries to Poutine. The portion was huge and oh my days was it delicious. When it was described to me as cheesy chips with gravy I thought it was the standard thing you can get at a local chippy in England but it’s not, it’s so much nicer! We also had the fried mushroom Kalamari with Tzatziki sauce. My husband is Greek and approved of the Tzatziki! Wish we could eat this every week but alas, back we travel to Miami *sigh*. This place also seems to draw in meat eaters who are unaware the place is vegan which is great.
