Serves meat, vegan options available. Downtown cafe and market offering more vegan choices than the other eateries around here. Its deli case offers healthier prepared foods for to-go or to eat-in. Could ask for a vegetable platter of the various individual items, like gazpacho, lentil soup,3-bean salad, quinoa salad, butter-bean salad, black-eyed pea salad, roasted cauliflower and basil, tabouli, green-bean salad, baba ghanoush, hummus, and falafel. The bean salads use olive oil and lemon juice for dressing and are vegan suitable. Also could order falafel wrap (vegan suitable). Open Mon-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm, Sat 8:00am-4:30pm.

My go to local spot

I’m a local here and this place is just fantastic for vegans. Yes they serve meat and cheese, but their vegan items are the best Middle Eastern food around. It’s basically a carry out place with a small folding table outside for some seating. It’s always packed because the food is so good. Falafel, baba ghanouj, tabouli, The best seasoned pita bread you’ve ever had in your life… All kinds of legume salads that are very savory. The three brothers give the place a real personality. For a while now, I use them to host my house parties. I go in there and place a large carry out order and they will deliver if you are close.

Good middle eastern deli

I’m Lebanese. The olives they sell are Lebanese too and I love them. Take home: olives from the olive bar; the freshly baked pita iterations; the crispy Zaatar pita chips. Take out for lunch: spinach triangle pies and the vegetarian grape leaves from the deli as well as the falafel sandwiches. Also great place to shop for middle eastern grocery staples such as spices, tahini, zaatar, mloukhia, etc.

Quick but well done

We stopped hear a couple hours before going to the airport for our final meal before heading home. There's a small table outside, but besides that there's no seating. Plan to get your food and drive down to Green Market Park or perhaps downtown in City Place on a bench.

The falafel platter came with hummus, rice, bread, salad, falafel and tahini. It was $10 and had an enormous amount of food. I think two people could easily split this. Very well made and delicious.

Pros: Great food. , Friendly

Great quick, vegan lunch

Many already prepared vegan items! This place is packed with locals for quick take-out lunch during the week. I highly recommend the roasted cauliflower with basil, it's great! All the bean salads are also great. You may order these items individually by the pound or together as a vegetable platter. Falafel are a little greasy, but they make a nice wrap which can be served on a white or whole wheat pita. Lately my go-to take out lunch has been the lentil and potato soup, which is delicious and very inexpensive.

Olive bar has many delicious olives sold by the pound. Lots of hummus, pitas, lentils, nuts, snacks, and read are available in the market. For the vegetarians, many cheeses are also sold by the pound.

The owners are also super nice and they offer catering.
