Just amazing! I want to try everything! - Edit
I had a toastie i saw them promoting on instagram with vegan bacon, vegan cheese, spinach and their chili mayo. It was absolutely delicious, the bread was just to die for.
Read moreMy friend had some stomach issues while we were there so we asked for just some bread with vegan butter which also came out amazing!

Reuben - Edit
The reuben sandwich is great. I struggle to go past it but there are other vegan options like 'fried chicken' sandwich/wrap. There are pre-made sandwiches to grab and go or they can make one up. I had an oat latte which was lovely and they stock the Dorky French vegan croissants so was fun to try that too (as well as their own range of cakes). My non vegan sister had a morning roll with square sausage and tattie scone and said she prefers this to meat ones. I missed the vegan bacon/eggs on menu so will need to try that next time.

Cons: Small floorspace so seating is mostly barstools, Wasn't sure about the plasticky coffee cup, Some GF baking a bit 'grainy' but good to have it!

Amazing sandwiches - Edit
Sandwiches are amazing, and excellent value. I love the vegan Reuben.
Read moreThe cakes are good though I think all gluten free, which you can tell but I've still had some nice ones. I go for the sandwiches not the cake though. (FYI there are no gluten free sandwiches - tried to take a gf friend.)
Pros: Sandwiches, Atmosphere and staff , Coffee
Cons: Toilet isn't in the cafe but accessed with a key, Cakes are GF

Got a tiffin and loaf cake to take away. Staff were nice and helpful. Vegan Reuben looked good. The cake was nice but definitely could tell it was gluten free.

Their vegan breakfast roll is an absolute belter, and their vegan brownies are good enough for non-vegans!

5 stars for the vegan sandwiches - Edit
Meadow Road has the best vegan sandwiches anywhere - the seitan, chicken and pastrami (not to mention square sausage) is all made by Billy the manager who is a total genius. You will not be disappointed!!!

Lovely little place - Edit
We weren't planning of stopping by so it was a nice surprise. Large selection of vegan cakes and brownies. I found it hard to choose so staff recommended a few. They were all very nice but the brownie that has either berries or cherries in the topping was my favourite. Would definitely come again for their savoury food if we lived in Glasgow.

Amazing vegan options - Edit
Always at least 2 vegan cakes available, usually more. Cakes & brownies are always super decadent and I always buy extra to takeaway. The Exeter Drive breakfast with vegan scrambled egg, cream cheese, avocado, hot sauce etc is THE best. They also do vegan square sausgae and a great choice of plant milks. Friendly staff, just wish it was bigger cause it's always so busy and you can struggle to get a seat!

Good coffee and a tasty vegan square sausage on a roll with potato scone - Edit
Great lunch. First time trying vegan Lorne sausage and very impressed. Asked for a soy flat white and was offered oat milk instead as the soy milk can split and was told if I didn’t like it I could have another to replace it so great service thank you

Very sweet cakes - Edit
There are quite a lot of vegan options here, and given that the rest of the restaurants in this area are not so accommodating for vegans, this place is worth a visit when you are around. I found the cakes a bit too dense and sweet though; it would have been nice if they would have offered a lighter option as well.

Impressive - Edit
I’ve had the vegan BLT, a couple of different vegan cakes/brownies, and the (new?) vegan square sausage & potato scone roll from Meadow Road Coffee now and have thoroughly enjoyed them all! It’s very handy for us and there aren’t many other vegan options in the direct area, so we’ll be making many more return visits in the future. There are at least 3 vegan savoury options on the menu that I can remember, and usually at least 3-5 home-baked vegan cake options on the go; nice to see from a small operation.
