Delicious and quaint

Had lunch on a beautiful fall day and it was the highlight of visiting Yellow Springs. Incredible food and wonderfully friendly staff, will happily visit again.

Adorable little cafe with great food!

This little eatery is 100% vegan and serves very delicious mediterranean style food. We ordered the Mazu Kati Roll and the Yansu Oyster mushrooms. The falafels in the Kati roll were very delicious and the fried oyster mushrooms were really good too. I do wish they served some kind of dipping sauce with the mushrooms, but we ended up adding them onto the Kati Roll and just folded it all up and ate it like a taco. Overall, the flavors were more unique than I’m used to for “Mediterranean”, but nonetheless, very satisfying and tasty. I felt like I was in another country eating something more authentic, rather than your typical Americanized version. 10/10!

Pros: Indoor and outdoor seating, Very friendly staff, Unique Mediterranean style food

Cons: Restaurant was a little hard to find, Street parking might be limited

Great mix of Taiwanese and South Indian

Mazu is closed for February, but this is a must stop in Yellow Springs. They have a great mix of Taiwanese and South Indian cuisine. The "Dan Dan Noodles" are a must try. The restaurant is small and it's super crowded on weekends, so expect a wait. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices are moderate, and portions are on the smaller side.

LOVED Mazu

Of everything we got (half the menu) the fried mushrooms could not be beat! The staff were really cool, service was great and of course the folks of yellow springs were nice to talk to. Cant wait for the menu to switch up and be wowed all over again
