Not worth the expensive prices - Edit
We came here just for some cocktails before lunch and were overwhelmed by the stunning atmosphere! I would say, it's even nice than Twentysix. Although, prices were extremely high and the vegan options are very limited.
Read moreWe paid more than 10€ for each cocktail which was 90% ice and finished in 3 sips (taste was amazing, though). We paid more than 5€ for a little plate of olives which were good but just basic. We paid more than 4€ for just plain water.
When we wanted to pay, we couldn't get a hold of any staff member for what felt ages.
Overall, it wasn't a really pleasant experience.
Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: Expensive , Slow service, Limited vegan options

Nice decor! - Edit
What gives this restaurant 4 star is for me the combination of decoration, atmosphere and the food. Not too many vegan options but the dish I had, hummus bowl with eggplant instead of egg, was delicious.

Vegan options quite basic - Edit
The place is really pretty and unique, but the vegan options were quite limited and just basic middle-eastern food. Musrooms seemed canned mushrooms with some oil and herbs, pepper ”salad” seemed like supermarket jar food and it was unclear if the salads came with pita or not and the waiter seemed annoyed when we asked about this afterwards. We really wanted to like the place but the food was average. Nice to visit once but there are better places for vegans kn Budapest.

Nice atmosphere - Edit
We loved the decor and atmosphere. I ordered the vegan lentil soup which was very flavorful. Next came the mixed salad platter that consisted of smoked eggplant and tabbouleh salad. For my entree I had the felafel sand with a side of fries and tahini dipping sauce. Everything tasted really fresh! For drinks, I had a raspberry Moscow Mule. It was refreshing.

Absolutely amazing! - Edit
Really popular place, we struggled to get a table for the evening so went for lunch instead - but you need to make a reservation beforehand! Absolutely delicious food, gorgeous setting - feels like you’re in a greenhouse! I had a falafel pitta and chips, and shared a pitta mezze for starter. Amazing, definitely worth the hype!😄

I had the falafel sandwich and a lemonade and they were quite tasty. I think this place is popular because of the architecture and the building itself.

V is for vegetarian, but nearly everything has dairy in it. Some things can be made vegan, but are not actually vegan on their own. There’s also 2 soup options (overpriced lentil and a mushroom one),

Awesome lentil soup - Edit
This place has some vegan appetizers and one vegan lentil soup. The lentil soup is very good, I highly recommend it. Fries are also tasty. Some meals can be made vegan on request, or so I’ve been told by the waiter. My friend had a vegetarian hummus bowl with an egg. The hummus was okay, not the best one but also not bad. It was an okay experience. Quite pricey.

Nourriture Méditerranéene - Edit
Nourriture de type méditerranéene , il ne s'agit pas d'un restaurant végétarien mais il y a tout de même du choix.

Beautiful restaurant with tasty offerings - Edit
Mazel Tov is a trendy restaurant in the heart of the party district. As well as Middle Eastern food, they serve fancy cocktails and have a decent-sized drink list too. The restaurant itself is like a covered garden within the shell of an old ruin building. There's a beautiful big tree in the middle with pretty lights to create a lovely ambiance. It's a very big restaurant space with a mostly young clientele.
Read moreWe went on a night that offered a vegetarian special for 3,000 a person (before tax and all but two items were vegan) which consisted of a bowl of hummus topped with falafel and various fixings (such as Yemeni-style mushrooms, tabouli, rice salad, and chickpeas). Looking at the a la carte menu, I saw there were other vegan options such as soups and small plates. While the food was really tasty, it was a little pricey for what you got (the drinks are even more expensive) but it's a great place to go if you are going out with non-vegans and for its cool ambiance.
