This charming and cozy restaurant is perfectly situated in a prime spot. The owners have brought their authentic Indian recipes to life here, and the service is exceptional. When I worked nearby, I often stopped in for their lentil soup with roti—an ideal lunch staple. It was also our go-to spot for hosting clients for lunch or dinner. The staff is accommodating, particularly with vegan requests, and they are very knowledgeable. My personal favorite has always been the mushroom aloo gobi. Even though I’ve moved further away, I still make it a point to visit at least once a year for a special occasion. Definitely worth the price!
Mayur is our favorite Indian Restaurant! Quiet, elegant atmosphere, kind & courteous service and above all, lots of awesome vegetarian dishes that if you ask, they'll make them all vegan and gluten free.
It is a bit pricey for dinner, but the lunch you can have the same dishes for a lot less!
There are currently 3 vegan friendly lunch specials: 2 different "Two course prefixed lynch" for $ 13 - either their signature dish Bahrta or Palak Paneer (just ask for vegan version, and they'll skip the "Paneer!"). It comes with a delicious lentil soup or an equally yummy salad as well as Naan bread (not sure if it's vegan, as we always ask to substitute for papadam instead!)
The other lunch option is the quinoa salad & soup for only $ 10.
