A solid cookie - Edit
Maya's is a regular presence at vegan food fairs/markets. The chocolate chip cookie I got was very good. I wouldn't go out of my way, but would definitely try other flavors if I see their booth and have a craving.

The best cookies! - Edit
Back in April we visited Maya's stand at the Pacific Beach farmer's market and got to meet Maya herself! We weren't able to try all flavors, but the ones we had were incredible, especially s'mores. Whenever we find ourselves missing these delicious cookies in Philadelphia we have a variety shipped.

Yum!! - Edit
These cookies are massive and they are incredibly flavorful! I had the “everything” cookie, it was true to its name, it had all the flavors you could want in a cookie! I’ve had cookies like this before and they were too salty for me, but this one was the perfect well rounded flavor profile! Delicious!
Read moreAlso, we got them at the Little Italy farmers market and the vegan second Saturday farmers market in north park. I had no idea they had a brick and mortar. I’m excited to try their ice cream!

Mouthwatering cookies - Edit
Wonderful to be able to shop for tasty Maya's Cookies at the bakeshop. As good as they are when enjoyed via mail order, these are even more delicious. Freshly baked. Menu changes daily.
Read moreBought an assortment of the day's flavors. Two specials for Juneteenth. The 'MVP' honoring Magic Johnson, luscious chocolate, coconut, pecan cookie, reminiscent of the magic cookie bars, yet better. The 'grand slam' honoring Serena Williams, chocolate goodness. The wheat free option of the day was the 'drunken grandma,' delightful oatmeal raisin like grandma would make.
Large cookies, soft, yet not mushy. Good crumbly texture.
Soft serve machine wasn't working, so didn't get to try it.
In person pricing more reasonable than mail order, of course.
Woman owned business.
Pros: 100% vegan, delicious cookies , Large, flavorful, great texture, Mail order available

Best Cookies. Ever. - Edit
I can’t believe I have never written a review for Maya’s. I have been in love with their cookies since moving to San Diego. They are almost always at the Hillcrest Farmers Market, and I treated myself to a subscription box a few months ago. Even the cookies from the subscription box are fresh and would make a wonderful gift for someone else (or, as I mentioned, yourself)! The cookies are soft, chewy, and absolutely delicious. There are many amazing flavors (including seasonal ones), and I love that it is Black-owned.
Read moreThere are no cons about these cookies; I have given them to my non-veg family and friends and have all agreed they are simply delicious cookies. They have a brown sugar butterscotch cookie that is so good. I think it’s my all-time favorite cookie.
Treat yourself and try Maya’s!

Famous cookies for a reason - Edit
Had their cookies during San Diego Vegan Festival and they live up to the hype!!! I tried their famous smores cookie, chocolate chip cookie, lemon chiffon cookie, and white chocolate macadamia cookie. Out of the 4, my favorite was probably the lemon chiffon but I would be happy having any of them again!

I was gifted the Classic Holiday Collection tin by a family member and all four flavors were great! My favorite was probably the sugar cookie as it was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Would definitely recommend to vegans and non-vegans!

The Best Cookies in San Diego - Edit
Without reservation I'd recommend Maya's Cookies to anyone, vegan or not. My personal favorite is the Birthday Cake, a sugar cookie covered in crunch rainbow sprinkles. Chocolate chip cookie dough can be ordered ahead for pick up as well. Her end of the year gingerbread cookies are not to missed.
