Not vegan - Edit
The last time I went here the guy who was working told me, very hatefully, that nothing they serve is vegan. He wouldn’t give me any more information than that and was very rude towards me for simply asking for clarification.

amazing - Edit
It wouldn't let me give five stars but I tried. This place is amazing. I live in Brooklyn and come to Winston to visit my family every couple months. You cannot find quality food like this anywhere here. The dumplings, noodles, and bubble tea are great.

Wrong order - Edit
I am allergic to mammalian meat (beef, pork, lamb etc.) and so my husband and I ordered a veggie bun for me and fried chicken for him. We received a pork bun, fried pork and a fried chicken. Thankfully I noticed it wasn’t a veggie bun when I bit into it and was able to spit it out. This could have been very bad if I didn’t think to look...I have anaphylaxis when I eat mammalian meat. Their veggie bun is great...just make sure you actually get a veggie bun.
Read moreAlso I have been ordering nondairy bubble tea from this place for a while, and the man told me today they don’t make nondairy... so who knows if I’ve been having dairy the whole time and the other man was lying.
Pros: Great veggie bun
Cons: Wrong orders , Nondairy bubble tea

Vegan options - Edit
Have vegan bao buns, they were pretty good. However the store is very small and you feel very cramped.

It’s okay...nothing to write home about - Edit
I’m thankful to have this place since Winston doesn’t have a lot of options but the food is just okay. More options would be nice. I’ve had all of the vegan options and I just felt they were okay.

Okay - Edit
Maybe the noodle salads are good, but personally I like hot noodles better and they only offered cold. I got the veggie bun, it came with just one, I thought it would’ve at least come with two. And it wasn’t that great. I used to love dim sum and I got something like that before i was vegan, so I was excited to try it but it kinda disappointed me. I still think it’s worth going and trying out..maybe I’ll go back one day and change my review if I have a better experience

May Way in Reynalda Village - Edit
After walking through Reynolda House, my daughter and I walked a short distance to May Way Dumplings. The Village has a few dining options but this was quick and the most vegan friendly.
Read moreWe each had a Veggie Bun (@$2.50) and split the Mala Noodles ($5.95). Both were very good and satisfying.

I tried the Veggie Bun and loved the slighty spicy sauce, the Peach bun was yummy and they made me a Vegan Boba tea with non dairy milk which was so good I could have cried! Also enjoyed being able to sit outside.

Cheap and Yummy - Edit
There are plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. It's all delicious. The servings are small, but they're cheap enough you can order whatever you want and have an affordable meal. I always enjoy sharing multiple things with friends.

The veggie bun was really good, and so was the sesame noodle salad and the red bean pouches. I was shocked by how cheap everything was. Awesome place. The staff is so friendly!
