A must visit for great vegan food - Edit
Maui Kombucha is a small establishment but had a great variety of all-vegan foods to choose from. We LOVED the egg-less salad sandwich, avocado toast, and Immortality açaí bowl. Servings are a good size, especially the massive açaí bowl.

Cons: Small so can be hard to find, but worth it!

They have different types of kumbuchas, lot of raw vegan food like springrolls, cake... it was a bit hard to find. It is St. the marketplace and we did not find a sign. But the enterance is at the street side of the big building.

Confusing service? - Edit
Walked in and was greeted by a woman behind the counter. Was not given any direction on how to order or if there was table service. Asked if we can sit and she said yes. We sat and decided on what to eat but the waitress never came. We sat there trying to get her attention while she did busy work for about 10 minutes. Eventually we left because we couldn’t get her attention and no one else looked like they had been fed either. when we left she said “thank you” 🙄

Raw options and komubcha - Edit
I'm super happy to see this place is still going after years. I came by with some friends and tried a number of things on the menu this time. They recommended the nachos as the best thing on the menu. We ordered that, a burrito bowl (alright), fresh rolls (great), a special (the waffle one, inside bean thing was a bit weird), sushi (great), smoothie (yummy), komucha (good), and a dessert (acai bowl, great). Everything was quite good, and overall very positive.
Read moreI'm not certain why, but they serve on disposable plates and cups. Relating to that, I know supplies here cost much more than the mainland, but I felt prices were a bit high. The nachos were good, and presentation was nice enough, aside from the paper bowl, but portion was fairly small and considering these were regular corn tortilla chips, not raw crackers, nor special chips, this seemed quite pricey. To me, the only special item in there was the 'cheese' and only a few in my party liked it.
That said, I'll still definitely be back.
Pros: Smoothies and Kombucha, Raw options, Great desserts
Cons: little pricy

Great food, lots of options - Edit
My partner and I went here about 2:30p on a weekday and it was packed with locals. Short version of our review: excellent food, lots of options, reasonably priced, kombucha and desserts are hit or miss
Read moreI had a thai curry soup with quinoa and greens on top -- despite having a ton of mushrooms (which I usually don't like), this was a great dish. Light but filling, lots of flavor.
My partner had the aloha pizza, which was very tasty but expectations are a little strange when it's called a pizza. That said, would recommend it.
We tried two kombuchas which were pretty bland before trying a third (the starfruit), which was absolutely killer. So ask to try the kombuchas before you commit.
We bought two desserts. The Bunny Love pie was amazing (one of the best vegan desserts I've ever had) but the cacao balls were.. not good.
The staff was super helpful and friendly; would definitely visit there again and would strongly recommend to friends.
Pros: Great food, Lots of options, Friendly staff
Cons: Desserts and Kombucha are hit or miss

Saw this on happycow years ago and have eaten here a few times. Was here again this week. Here's my Maui Kombucha review update.
Read moreIt moved across the street into a larger space with more seating. A large kombucha bar with stool seating is at the front upon entering. The food offering appears the same as years before: raw wraps, parfait, raw pies, a few cooked bowls (with quinoa).
This place attracts a younger crowd as well hipsters. The foods is pretty good, especially the berry parfait. Wraps are good Bowls are good but portion is a bit small-ish.
Pros: vegan friendly, kombucha on tap

Their pies are EVERYTHING! - Edit
Yeah they sell kombucha, but their raw pies are God in food form! Theyre that good. I've had a lot of raw pies in my day but these are by far the best. I want one now in fact.
Read moreI also love their kale chips.
The kombucha is ok. Its more of a flavor like beer to me which I just prefer my kombucha differently. I never taste the flavor profiles they add in, its just strong in that fermented taste.
I appreciate them and their expansive menu of great and healthy grinds.
Pros: Local hangout spot, Amazing raw pies, High quality menu
Cons: Kombucha taste like beer

Delicious kombucha - Edit
I only ordered kombucha, and not food, but I loved the flavor that I ordered, and appreciated the friendly service and helpful samples before committing to a takeaway order. The kombucha was some of the best quality I have sampled. I especially liked the mojito flavor and the lemon honey flavor. The service was prompt, helpful, and so friendly.

I would eat here everyday if I could - Edit
This place was well worth the drive. I stayed in Kihei on my trip and came out here twice because I was so impressed. The desserts are to die for and the kombucha is fresh on tap. I never wanted to leave. Its also close to a super amazing beach that I also never wanted to leave so pair it with fresh kombucha and I could die happy.
Read moreI had breakfast here one morning and then grabbed a pie of cacao hazelnut torte for later. OMG. I can't even describe the heaven I had in my mouth with the first bite. The staff were friendly, adorable, and super helpful. They even let me try all 3 flavours of kombucha on tap before I chose the one I wanted. I'd go back to Hawaii just to eat here again.
Pros: Great raw food, Out of this world desserts, Kombucha on tap
Cons: A little small with limited seating, A bit of a drive from Kihei

Worth the drive - Edit
I have eaten here maybe 25 times and never been disappointed; additionally, I often bring my guests vacationing on the island here, and they end up going there to eat several times in the duration of their short stay! The selection of raw food is impressive, as well as their salad ingredients, and raw desserts. There are always free tastings of their kombucha on tap, service is friendly (I am always treated like family), and all ingredients are listed or available for those with dietary restrictions.

Really good raw food - Edit
This place had excellent raw food options. We picked up a raw lasagna/salad combo and a raw philly cheesesteak to take with us on the road to Hana. We didn't end up eating them until the next morning but they were both excellent the next day. Better than many raw food dishes I have had at other raw restaurants.
Read moreWe did pick up a glass of kombucha. I have never really liked kombucha but thought that I might like this since it was brewed fresh. Unfortunately I still didn't like it but my husband happily drank it.
Pros: Good raw options, nice staff, food refrigerates well

Best raw, vegan food on Maui, hands down! - Edit
I spent a year living on Maui in 2009/2010 and frequented MK often. Their food was always super fresh, raw, vegan & %100 organic, and, much if it was local. (I can attest to that because I used to sell to them at the local farmers market!)
Read moreTheir deserts are to die for and their Kombucha is equally good. The place is cozy with a nice atmosphere.
Pros: Fresh, local organic, %100 raw/vegan
Cons: Not visible from street/hidden
