Good desserts! - Edit
Vegan menu with 3 options for each course. We had the vegan spinach and avocado burger and the falafel bowl, and we tried all 3 desserts which were all good. Good atmosphere as well with traditional Irish music on Mondays

There is a separate vegan menu with 3 each of appetizers, mains and desserts. I had the spinach and avocado burger. It was decent.

There's a full vegan menu with starters, mains and desserts. I wasn't very hungry so a little starter was a nice treat and I could spend time with my friends there.

Just ask for the vegan menu and you get 3 choices each for starters, main and dessert. I had the cauliflower bites (they were not super crispy but still very good), the plant steak (omg, this was so nice) and the caramel apple tart (ice cream was a bit crystalline but the tart was to die for). Can 100% recommend this place!

The menu was so surprisingly brilliant and the desserts were insane. I had the Caramel and Apple Tart with vegan ice cream which is rare to find vegan and it was incredible.

Bad food, good music - Edit
The live music and service were great but the food was very bad. I had the spinach and avocado burger which in combination with the vegan cheese, had the texture of snot. My friend had the buffalo cauliflower which weren't crispy, they just seemed like boiled cauliflower in a very spicy sauce. The chips were good though.

I was disappointed at first because I didn't see a single vegan meal on the menu. Luckily I asked and they gave me a vegan only menu. I ordered the soup and the steak. The steak was delicious, but the soup was honestly the best soup I have ever had.

I went to Matt The Millers in January as I had heard they introduced a new vegan menu. I ordered the burger and it was pretty good.

I had a great time at this little place, especially as I wasn't sure I'd find much in Kilkenny to eat (outside of the one completely vegan place). I was happy to see they have a separate vegan menu and were accommodating to my needs.

This was a fantastic find in Kilkenny! Love that they had a separate vegan menu so me and my bf could eat here. I got the cauliflower wings and the soup - it was the best soup I’ve ever had. Definitely worth it if you find yourself in Kilkenny!

This place was lovely. Service was great. They have a full, separate vegan menu, but you do have to ask for it. I had the burger. It was huge! I didn’t realize it was 2 patties. Also ordered the brown soda bread, which was so tasty!

There's a full vegan menu available, you just need to ask for it, with three starters, three mains and three desserts. I went for the cauliflower bites to start. They were really tasty, nice and spicy and a great texture. The portion was huge and would definitely be enough for two to share as a starter. For main, I had the falafel salad bowl and again was really impressed. Nice crispy falafel, flavourful salad and every component on the plate was well done. Again, a really generous portion size. The pub itself is nice - busy, great drinks selection, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. There's live Irish folk and traditional music every night so would be a great spot for any tourists who'd like to experience Irish music
