Worst vegan Philly Chzsteak ever! - Edit

I have been vegan for 24 years and eaten many philly cheese steaks. I never thought I would find one I didn't like but sadly today was the day. There was a sign on the food truck that said to order next door so maybe the usual person wasn't making the food? But the staff didn't get our order right. My partner asked for dairy cheese on a vegan cheese steak and I asked for an all vegan cheese steak. The guy gave my partner the weird vegan not melted cheese triangles on top and both of us some dairy nacho cheese in a cup. My partner tried the nacho cheese sauce and said it was definitely not vegan and also sour tasting like it had gone bad. The actual cheese steak was so so bad. I think the 'steak' was made out of like a rice pilaf or some kind of rice mash. No seasoning at all. You just can't pull that off as cheese steak. There were lots of bell peppers and onions and that was really the thing you tasted the most but overall so bland. The port-o- potty's were also locked and the out door seating area was super dirty, trash can overflowing and smelled like pee (not surprised since the bathrooms were locked). Definitely do not recommend.

Sooooo Good - Philly cheesesteak - Edit

Don't let the location fool you. It is worth the drive out there, not the least because this food truck is open until 9pm 7 days / week. This guy works hard.

Now, to the food. We were so happy to find a vegan Philly cheesesteak option after Buddy's steaks closed. Ziad does a fabulous job of warming and toasting the bun and filling it with what ever it is that makes it taste divine. All vegan and comes with fries. Super deal.

One thing of note is a slice of am Cheese that he puts on sandwich once it's ready to serve. I thought it would be weird, but it actually tasted good once it warmed up on the hot elements of the sandwich.

Pros: Tastes great, toasted bun, great deal / comes with fries

Cons: Not sure about the cheese but tolerable.
