Delicious Indian

I love that everything is clearly marked as vegan and not vegetarian on the menu.

I ordered from Door Dash, but recommend going in person. I called to inquire what was in the veg platter not on the menu online and if it can be made vegan. The woman I spoke to said to put in the notes: "No Paneer Pakora". I entered "Vegan: No Paneer Pakora! Thank you! Despite all that, Masala Bay did not read my special notes in Door Dash. And I got paneer pakora in order. I think you would have better luck in person!

Food was delicious! I ordered the veg platter which was pretty large and yummy. The star was the spicy level of the Baingan Bharta, which actually was spicyAF lol but I love spicy! So rich, smokey, spicy!

The basmati rice was delicious! Flavored with bayleaf and spices. It was a little suspicious of possible ghee as the rice has an oily sheen... I hope it is oil! Would recommend inquiring. Menu did not clearly say rice was included, so I ordered a side of rice and ended up with two. Which turned out ok, I ate most of the first rice and half of the entree, so a full leftover meal :D

Overall, very delicious! I would definitely go in person next time. I don't feel 100% about dishes being vegan ordering from Door Dash but if I had more confidence, I will change my rate to 4.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan on the menu, Spicy is actually spicy, Delicious food

Cons: They don't read Door Dash notes, Still skeptical if ghee is present

My go-to Indian restaurant

Excellent food. For vegetarians, plenty of options. Vegans can ask, I typically go for the Chana Masala which is made without dairy by default and is delicious!

My favorite indian place

I love this place with all my heart!! I frequent here all the time. Menu is clearly labeled with which items are vegan and this includes appetizers, curry, rice, and more. I always love getting the chana masala W/ aloo tikki appetizers but I’ve also gotten their veggie samosas and other curries as well. The online ordering takes about 30-40 mins for pickup but trust me it’s worth the wait! Never had a bad tasting item from this place and I’m excited to try more of their options.

Pros: Big portions for the $, Parking lot

Cons: Long wait time for online order

Good vegan/vegetarian options

Masala Bay has a ton of vegan and vegetarian options. The food is usually very good, but sometimes it is hit or miss. Overall a good choice for Indian food in the area.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Expensive
