Home-style cuisine made from gluten-free and many locally sourced produce. The daily vegetarian lunch buffet allows the customer to select what they want and how much, for a fixed plate size. Dishes change everyday and is offered from 12-4pm. Fresh juices and smoothies are available off the menu board. Coffee and tea can be served with almond or soya milk. Great vegan option in somerset west - Edit
Really tasty and nutritious food served buffet style. Great option for lunch if you're travelling through the area. There were 2 hot dishes, vegan and g/f pizza, plus an extensive salad selection. Would definitely return again. Shame it's only open mon - fri.

Mary-Ann’s family run restaurant and shop offers the most delicious and nutritious buffet lunch. The menu varies daily and we had Beautiful fresh salads, zucchini lasagna, quinoa and lots of other delicious goodies. Highly recommend!

I won’t even begin to mention the brownie and ice cream situation we had…it was a melt in your mouth caramelised peacan nuts carob chocolatey situation that I would kill for the recipe!!!
Honestly next time I’m in the Cape Town area my lunch schedule will revolve around Mary-Anns restaurant.
If you haven’t eaten there, what are you waiting for?

It‘s a very cool location, the food is AMAZING. 1 normal plate is 70 rands, a large is 140 and you can refill it as many times as you want (the large one). Totally recommend this place!

Read moreI enjoyed the capachino with almond milk which I sweetened with fructose. We had the full plate buffet for R140, where we got a second helping. The food was delicious, with each item bringing out a Burst of unique Great flavours. Throughly enjoyed the roostie, the marinated mushrooms, curry, cashew mayo, chilli relish. A wholesome delicious meal.
Everything was gluten free and mostly vegan. Only the honey, peanut butter honey, honey in the hot chilli relish.
They have a variety of breakfast bowls, smoothies and juices. Some make use of honey and yogurt.
They also have a grocery section selling a variety of things like dried fruits, nuts, chocolate, card, sanitary products, cleaning products etc.
They also make use of biodegeable packaging made from cellulose.
The seating areas are very summery and cool. The place is kept clean and neat.
Really recommend a must go to place to eat amazing food.
Pros: Lots of Vegan options, Burst of flavourful food
Cons: Uses honey and dairy.

All vegan except for honey. Food is healthy, delicious and up to Mary-Ann's usual standard. Staff are friendly, especially Phillip, and the restaurant is very spacious, airy and in a great location near Mouille Point ligjthouse. I just can't stay away.
