Beautiful Location with Amazing Food - Edit
The ambiance here was lovely, I definitely would recommend it for special occasions. Although call ahead or reserve a table if possible because we did have to wait to get in. I got the Vegan Tikka Masala with potatoes and soy curls. It was delicious and soooo well spiced, they also had vegan naan which is rare to find! I loved it here and will definitely be going back

Absolutely love that they included a dairy free yogurt option and CHEESY NAAN??????? Not just Naan that we can have, BUT CHEESY NAAN?????????? HELL YEAH❣️❣️❣️❣️ The Tikka Masala was bangin, and this was my first time getting Biryani made from scratch and it did not disappoint. Also, their Achar is the good shut cause it has plenty of green Mango 😋 Their pappadam was also super airy which I really enjoyed!

Atmosphere is cozy, staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and their small menu is top to bottom amazing. It's a place you want to take your parents to when they're in town!

Maruti is great. We are addicted to the vegan cheezy Naan. Also, the vegan Tiki Masala with all three options is the best Tiki Masala I've ever had.

So delicious. Lots of vegan options. - Edit
The vegan tiki masala is the best. Lots of vegan nan, some with vegan cheese. Online menu is a little confusing bc it says things with paneer are vegan but obviously not.. lots of vegan stuff though.

Healthy Indian food - Edit
Vegan items are clearly marked. It was pretty crowded when we went in just before 8, and they said it wasn't likely a table for 4 would open up before closing time so we took everything to go.
Read moreThe menu consists of mostly just naan and some curries. We had the eggplant and saag Aloo and both tasted nice, neither was dripping with oil or had an excess of spices overpowering the vegetable's flavours. The pakora tasted more like a masala vada and was fine.

Small Chickpeas, Big Flavor - Edit
I ordered the chana masala, rice, and garlic naan. The chana masala is tasty, but slightly spicy for my low tolerance. The garlic naan just tasted like plain naan to me. Definitely enough food for two meals.

Not sure what to say - Edit
Was super happy to see an Indian restaurant with marked vegan items, but was not thrilled after eating. Apparently the people who are in the kitchen are Indians, but the Aloo Bell-pepper that we ordered was very disappointing. The Garlic Naan was great. The vegetable Biriyani was average as well. Overall, I was expecting the typical Indian restaurant taste, but it was lacking, but happy to see so many vegan options clearly marked as well. Will I visit again? Maybe - after trying out many many other options available in Portland!

Most Amazing Indian Food - Edit
This is the best Indian food I've ever had! The food is amazing, the restaurant is cute, and the staff are wonderful. The owners are so sweet, and very clearly care about their food and customers. The vegan tikka masala is a must, as well as the vegan mango lassi. Their food may seem spendy, but matches the average Portland restaurant price, and many of their ingredients are organic/local.

One of the best restaurants in Portland hands down - Edit
This has quickly become a favorite place in town. The vegan Indian options in PDX can be frustrating and bland but this place is changing all of that! The cheesy vegan Naan is so good I could just eat that forever. Add the mushroom biryani and a curry and you have a mouth-gasm in the making

Unbelievably Delicious! - Edit
What a great place--the decor, the vibe, the service, the food--spot on! One of the owners was behind the bar welcoming people as they came in. She was warm and friendly. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if the entire menu was vegan. I will definitely go back if I have the opportunity.
