Excellent Vegan Ramen

One of the best veg friendly ramens in town for a great price and atmosphere!

I came here on a lunch date with my friends and their little one. We arrived a little past opening and the shop was already half full. If you come around noon, expect a wait.

They have a delectable Vegetable Ramen ($16.50) that can be made fully vegan by removing the egg. The broth is fully plant-based although they were transparent in saying that their spinach noods are cooked in the same water as egg noods, so there is cross-contamination (although this is likely an occurrence at a lot of non-fully veg places, so take that as you will).

My veggie ramen was fantastic. I got it as Ultra Spicy and to be honest, it could've been spicier lol. I enjoyed the medley of veggies and garnishes and two pieces of lightly seared firm tofu. The creamy broth was wonderful and the portion of spinach noodles was generous. You can definitely go kaedama on this and have another portion in their wonderfully crafted bowls.

Everything came out super quick and the service was attentive through and through. They even provided my friend's kid with their own kid-friendly dish ware to enjoy their food.

Solid food, Marufuku. I'd love to return again.
