Food meh, ramen noodles have egg - Edit
The vegetable tofu ramen had a nice taste from the broth but the noodles were slimy and tasteless clear noodles. The server told me the RAMEN NOODLES ARE NOT VEGAN, they have egg. So I choose yam noodles which were strangely slimy, glassy, and mushy. Since you can't have the actual ramen noodles as a vegan here I don't think it's worth the trip with the other noodle options being just rice and yam.

I ordered the tofu stir fry (made with organic tofu). The tofu was delicious and a bit spicy, but the stir-fry didn't contain as many veggies as I had hoped. Portion sizes were generous enough that I will be able to get another meal out of the tofu and rice by adding some veggies. My dish came with a salad lightly dressed with a savory, slightly sweet peanut sauce.

The server was kind and able to answer my questions. She pointed out that the ramen noodles contain egg, but the rice and yam noodle options are vegan. Most vegetarian options are labeled, but you have to ask for no egg and substitute the noodles for the ramen.

Pros: Servers are kind and accommodating, Food is delicious and served promptly, Decor is cool, with manga-style artwork on walls
Cons: Tofu-veggie stir fry contains barely any veggies, You have to ask to omit egg for ramen, Vegan options could be more clearly labeled

Vegan ramen options - Edit
Not the best vegan ramen I’ve had but still a fine dinner. Menu has clearly labeled vegetarian options, have to ask for vegan. I got the vegetarian miso ramen without an egg which had Ithaca tofu and shiitake mushrooms. Friendly staff!

I had the vegetarian miso ramen and it came out steaming hot and delicious. I added some chili oil to give it more flavor. The shiitake mushroom buns were definitely not my thing. If you LOVE shiitake mushrooms, then you will like this… but if you’re not, maybe pass on it. The vegetarian sushi roll was okay. I was really looking forward to the avocado on the sushi roll and when it was served, the avo was missing. If they would have told me there were out of avo, I wouldn’t have ordered it. I would only come back here for the ramen and seaweed salad.

Vegan options! Vegetable miso was delicious. Shiitakes are braised and flavorful. Vegetable sushi very very good. Food came out FAST!! Servers very friendly. Even had left overs. Brought our own containers for leftover soup and sushi rolls

We ordered veggie dumplings, tofu bibimbap and yam ramen noodles with tofu in veggie broth. The two main dishes were big enough to share and had fresh crunchy veggie toppings, carrots, lettuce, marinated daikon, bean sprouts, cucumber and seaweed.
Read moreWe were pleasantly surprised by the rich flavor-filled veggie broth—not salty or watery as many restaurant vegan broths can be. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly and super quick . We asked for ‘no egg’ in the main dishes and that was fine.
The dining area is small and we ordered for takeout, waiting outside for our order. The server came out with everything securely packed for our trip home.
Note: the location is not in the downtown central business district but further along the Main Street (State Street).

very delicious ramen place with multiple vegetarian options. i got the shiitake mushroom ramen (without egg). the service was VERY fast. it was quite loud, but it was just one large party; it was much better once they left—not the restaurant’s fault. will definitely come again!

I had the vegetable miso ramen, it was delicious! The ramen comes with an egg on top, but it is super easy to ask for the egg to be left off. Amazing noodles and other dishes. I would love to come back and enjoy the ramen on a cold day.
