Yum - Edit
Tasty food with lots of options. It's only covered by a plastic sheet but they provide heaters and blankets in the winter.

This place is amazing!!!! - Edit
The food here is so amazingly good, I would say one of the must go to places in Seoul!! I loved everything, would think everyone has to try their cold buckwheatnoodles (the reason for my username actually haha), I loved them so so much.

This is so random but I came across your vietnam reviews when we were travelling there and then saw this review that informed your username and knew we had to go. Went last week and this dish and everything were insanely good!! Thank you! Now I am in Kyoto on the lookout for more yummy vegan eats :)

Delicious street food! - Edit
Maru kimpab has the best korean street food in Seoul! I always went there with my family when they visited me and they are not vegans, but they thought it was so delicious!👍 The price is cheap even though it's located in a tourist area. It can be very cold in the winter since you sit outside, but they have blankets and heaters. 100% recommend this place😊

Cutest vegan spot in Seoul!! - Edit
Such lovely lovely staff who always thanked us for visiting🥺!
Read moreAmazing food with lots of choice and brilliant service overall. I came here multiple times during my time in Seoul as it was so well-priced and I was #struggling with both finances and vegan options 😂
I've tried the tofu gimbap, ham gimbap, fried chick'n, fried dumplings and vegan udon noodle soup!
Literally cannot fault anything, hence this is quite a short review😂One thing to bare in mind though is that it is a small stall, so you might struggle to find seating on a busier day, but I never had this issue so don't worry!
There is also a new ice cream place next door! Me and my friend both got mango and passionfruit ice creams and they were delicious...a little pricier at 5,000 won for a scoop but not bad overall😄

Small but mighty - Edit
Not many places to sit and only 1 person in kitchen so the service can feel a bit random but the food was really good. Had the California roll with fried tofu and rice cake. I’d certainly go again next time I’m in Seoul.

Korean street food - Edit
This place was not easy to find as it was located in a unpopular building. There were limited seats and the kitchen was run by a woman only. If you are looking for some Korean street food, this is a place that you need to go. I had the Gimbap and Oddeng. Both reminded me the time I first been to Seoul when I was not a vegan.

Loved it! - Edit
Was super excited to try this place out in 2019 on my second trip to Seoul. We ate a lot of vegan junk foods on our trips to south korea, so it is nice there's vegan places like this to go to. We got a few different things and it was excellent. I will definitely be back on my next trip. I really want to try the chicken!

Vegan kimbap! - Edit
Ordered two rolls of kimbap to go for breakfast and lunch while adventuring nearby. Grabbed the soy ham and the fried tofu, both were lovely but preferred the tofu.
Read moreFound it a bit hard to find, if coming from the North it's "behind" the GS25. Staff was friendly and spoke a little english.
During the winter the front of the shop is covered in plastic, and the tables have little heated cushions along with two space heaters. Definitely needed while waiting for the kimbap to be made fresh (~15 min)!
Pros: All vegan menu with plenty of options

Gimbap heaven! - Edit
I took some Gimbap to go and it was really delicious, even on the next day. I'll definitely come back to try their other dishes! 😊
Read moreI had to wait quite a bit though, because the people before me basically ordered the whole menu. The wait was well worth it and I'm sure next time I'll be the one stopping the line 😄
Had some more food there: tteokbokki was really good, not too spicy. Not the biggest fan of the dumplings unfortunately. They were a little too doughy in the middle for me

Small place that offers vegan versions of traditional Korean dishes - vegan kimbab, tteokbokki, udon, ramen and dumplings. The place is small but cozy.

Snack Stand - Edit
Vegan snack stand in Maru Art Centre (same building as Museum of Kimchi) at Insadong Shopping Street, 5 to 10 min walk from Anguk Subway Station Exit 6. There are some outdoor seats, with heated pads and lap blankets provided. Seniors are employed to work at this eatery. The staff said some dishes contain alliums while some dishes are allium-free (they did not specify which dishes exactly). P.S. The eatery next door is also fully vegan, selling pizza and gelato.

Vegan options, cheap, package-food - Edit
Loved it but I have to admit I am disappointed they use store bought dumplings that are defrosted:(

The vegan kimbap was great.
Had the tteteboki as well - very watery. The dumplings were to oily and like I said not freshly made. The odeng was a bit tasteless
Friendly
They speak English to some extend
Good value if you want to have a cheap meal
After being in Korea for almost two months I went back and it’s not good as I thought it was - very processed ingredients but you get what you pay for
The cold noodles and Gimbap are good
Maybe they will have their chicken soon again.
