Hidden gem - Edit
Tucked away but well worth a bit of a hunt. Delicious food! Chefs were very friendly and spoke good English - helpful in explaining what dishes were and how much food was needed.

Very cozy, good price and taste is amazing! - Edit
It was a bit hard to find, but eventually found it backed away in a corner, haha. The ladies were very nice and spoke a little english. For a small shop the menu was quote extensive and had all the traditional foods. Be mindful that the shop does not really have a seating area inside, it's inside a see through tent. Can be a little cold but they have a heater.

Best food I've had in Korea!! - Edit
This was the best meal I've had in Korea so far! I've been dreaming about returning to eat more of their food. I ordered bibim noodles, fried tofu kimbap, and dumplings. Everything was perfectly cooked, fresh, and so delicious that I immediately wished I could eat the meal all over again at the end. The noodles were my favorite as they offered a good amount of spice and a distinctly Korean freshness with the cold veggies and notes of citrus. The staff are lovely, warm, and kind as well. The menu offers a good variety so one can sample different types of Korean food.
Read moreMain thing to note is that since they're busy and everything is cooked fresh to order, the food does take a while to come out. However, it is absolutely worth it.

Great food and great prices! - Edit
The shop was located right next to the main shopping section of Insadong, and was easy to find. The staff spoke English well and the menu was also in English. I ordered two dishes and a tea and it was 14,500, which is very reasonable! The food was delicious, and it was great to eat Korean food I usually can’t eat! There was a bit of a wait time, but they were busy and pleasant.

Petite échoppe sur Insadong très très bonne! - Edit
Bien situé, ce snack dispose de quelques tables. J'ai goûté aux fried dumpling, au vegan ongdae et au fried tofu kimbap, tout était très bon ! Les prix sont raisonnables et la propriétaire parle un peu l'anglais.

Tasty Korean Vegan Lunch - Edit
This is a small place with about a dozen items on the menu. A regular customer helped me choose the tofu roll and the udong, a noodle soup. Both were tasty and fresh

Great food, gruff service - Edit
I came here a couple times during my week-ish stay in Seoul, and the location is great in the middle of Insadong near Gyeongbokgung Palace and, maybe more importantly, right next to the Museum Kimchichan. So grateful to have vegan options so close! The dumplings are amazing, kimbap also really good, rice cake soup super nourishing, kimchi delicious, and tteokbokki very yummy. The only negative is that the owner is pretty gruff and apparently overworked, so she can be short and rushed with you (she was even kind of mean to one customer who was being confusing about what they wanted). Maybe more so with foreigners. The owner and cook (I think her daughter?) were audibly huffing a lot on Sunday when I came by (the day before their day off on Mondays, so they were probably extra tired), which created an atmosphere of anxiety. But the owner can also be super nice and helpful! A bit all over the place when it comes to customer service, but as long as you have thick skin you’ll be alright. And be complimentary! It helps.

Delicious food! - Edit
It's difficult to find vegan Korean food, but this place has so many options for vegan Korean food! It's amazing!! Everything is delicious. The customer service aspect could be improved, but they speak English, which is helpful for foreigners. There is also very limited seating, so you might have to share a table with a friendly stranger or wait for a party to leave to sit down. Definitely order before getting a seat. Also be mindful of the times before going! I went here frequently and often saw people upset when they got there right after the lunch break started and were unable to order. So definitely check the times!

Super tasty in nice area - Edit
Nice place to stop on your way to the Gyeongbokgung Palace as it is just one Metro stop away. There is a nicely pedestrianised area around this restaurant with art galleries and modern clothing and art shops. I wandered around while the food was being prepared.
Read moreI had the Udon noodle soup which was a bit bland, but I asked for it spicy and they obliged with some chilli powder. Probably going off menu a bit, but tasty outcome! Fried dumplings were excellent - really nice stuffing. Freshly squeezed lemon juice was perfect for a hot summer day, and a better option than canned soda.

Good food - Edit
The dishes we ordered were nice, though my sibling didn't really like the California roll because of the pickled vegetables. I thought it was nice, but there was quite a lot of sauce. The tteokbokki and dumplings were both very good! We did have to sit in a hallway which was a bit unfortunate.
