Not so veg friendly

We came in for a small breakfast, only to find out that most vegan dishes are based on couscous or bulgur, which we don't particularly like. When we said we're vegan, the waitress offered egg. Other options were hummus or salad, so we just decided to leave and eat elsewhere. I don't see how this place started out as vegan, as I don't even consider it vegan friendly for the moment.

Atmospheric vegetarian restuarant

When I visited, the restaurant was still vegetarian. I found the menu very exciting and easy to accommodate my vegan lifestyle. The food was delicious and the prices were fine. The atmosphere and interior had a nice vibe and I really enjoyed my stay :)

Pros: Delicious, Fairly priced, Nice interior

Morocco or Tel Aviv?

Been here in previous location.
Food was good but there was lack of atmosphere in that small shopping mall. I hope now will be better!
Im on my way to try You there guys! ;)
I hope also that there will be more moroccan food! Cose I discovered that the menu is very similar like in sister bar Tel Aviv.

Perfect!

My partner and I had a long weekend in Warsaw last month and decided to do some home work and find a selection of vegan friendly restaurants. Her family (and almost every other person we met)ate meat and lots of it.
We however are vegan and so it was great to find plenty of really good eatery's with the Marrakesh Cafe coming out tops!

Service was friendly and the food options where explained as well as a brief description of the dishes available on their lunch buffet. Nothing was too much trouble and they even cooked some fresh gluten free bread for me, nice touch.

The food was just perfect and so much choice. From memory there where three tagines, several salads and tons of go- withs, marinated olives, couscous etc. Almost all the dishes are vegan but its worth asking when you arrive as I believe the selection changes daily.

When I next visit Warsaw I'll def pop back, lovely food, refreshing smoothies, vegan cake......whats not to love!?!

Pros: Good value, Fresh fresh fresh!, Full of flavour

Cons: Not central but close to a tram stop

A great place to eat on the go

I was in a hurry when i visited this cafe and it sure was a good choice! They have burgers and sandwiches which can be made in a few minutes. You also get a small salad and sauces of your choice. There was no english menu but the staff speaks english and can translate everything for you. I tried a burger with mushrooms and got a salad with chickpeas. The spicy mango sauce is really good! They clame that the cafe is vegan. Everything there is also gluten-free. It was a perfect option for me!

Pros: Tasty vegan food, English speaking staff, Good for takeaways

Cons: No english menu

Moorish Delights

Decided to give this place a whirl after seeing it Happy Cow. I had no idea it was the 'sister' to the amazing Tel Aviv vegetarian cafe on Ul. Poznanska a mile or so away until it clicked when I saw the menu and the branding. The menu here is actually a bit cheaper than that at Tel Aviv which must have something to do with the location. Marrakesh is located in North Africa in Morocco? Well no it's actually in the Millennium Plaza shopping centre on the corner of Al. Jerozolimskie and Towarowa near the Sobieski hotel. Not the greatest of settings perhaps but the place itself is simply gorgeous with ornate decor and plush rustic and moorish furnishings. There are even shisha pipes on the tables and it just feels so welcoming and exciting. The food is Moroccan and Middle Eastern themed with hummus, pitta breads and mezze dishes playing a big role. There are speciality moroccan sandwiches, wraps and dishes such as the Lafa, Kofta Kebab and Tagine. The vegan options are fabulous particularly in the mezze department, where a visit would not be complete without trying the sublime vine leaves. At night this place is so charming with its' dim lighting and rustic atmosphere. During the day it's perfect for a coffee and a delicious buffet lunch.

Pros: great food, friendly staff, decor

Cons: not the best location

Moroccan atmosphere

Even though the location might not have the highest atmosphere (inside Millenium Plaza - a shopping/business centre), the owners still made a very cosy place where you step inside and forget about the shopping mall outside.

The food is very reasonably priced, original and tasty. Don't expect anything more than a cafe, most items on the menu are sandwiches. We were however able to get a tajine, a bit spicy but more than enough for two people! Most of the items on the menu are vegan, also a nice plus.

In reviews elsewhere I read that staff is not that friendly, but I found the complete opposite, they were very friendly and helpful with all our questions.

Definitely a good place for a nice lunch!

Pros: great food, friendly staff

Cons: menu a bit limited, not the cheapest

Sweet Spot!

Great options. I love middle eastern food so it was fantastic for me. They accidently brought me the wrong order, a vegetarian one with jogurt sauce but felt really bad and got me my vegan dish. Great atomosphere! I want to go back for their Buffet.

Simply superb!

My partner and I just finished a superb lunch at the Marrakech -- spicy Buddha Burgers on buns, baba, hummus, tagine, marinated tofu, assorted veggy spreads and salads, soy cappuccino and Moroccan coffee... sadly no vegan cake or truffles today, for they had been bought out by another restaurant. The cafe is spacious, clean, and decorated in a kind of Moroccan-inspired modern fusion, with light pouring in through large windows. The owners and staff (all women and English speaking, greeted us warmly and helped us decide on what to eat from the many and mostly vegan options. This is a restaurant not to miss -- everything fresh, presented well, organic, and Fair Trade. We will becoming back!
