Disappointing - Edit
Cute, and some vegan options - but could definitely be more. Coffee wasn’t as good as I’d expected, and I couldn’t get over how wildly expensive the menu was - maybe this is just the way things are going, but was the first time I’d really experienced prices like this (10 pounds for porridge, 20 for vegan breakfasts), and was irritated when the wrong order came after a long slow wait. Shame as I’d love to love Marmadukes -, guess it must be truly hard to be an indie cafe at the moment so I’m trying to be sympathetic

Decent coffee and some options - Edit
Consistently great coffee here although there can be a bit of a wait for it! Limited vegan options but what they do have is tasty. Recommend the banana bread toasted with a bit of vegan spread!

Inclusive.. but not so much for vegans - Edit
We came for vegan brunch / late breakfast on a Tuesday. No full breakfast available!
Read moreNo vegan cake - the one option, banana bread, was not in todays delivery.
Had avo toast which had great flavours in the trimmings. Beautiful sourdough.
I do like a little bit of (vegan) butter on my toast though and this is not available.
Overall a great cafe for omnis, but sadly with only a token nod to plant based clientele, rather than any thoughtful consideration for what are cheap and simple adaptions / alternatives.
Pros: Inclusive rainbow atmosphere , Great (omni) food , Industiville decor
Cons: No vegan breakfast Monday - Friday 😮, No vegan butter , Rigid pricing eg for vegan adaptions.

Nice independent - Edit
Popped in for a quick lunch yesterday at the Norfolk Row cafe and bakery - nice outdoor seating under parasols in the pedestrianised street. The menu offered quite a few veg options and some vegan, all freshly made and the salads were delicious. Oat milk and pea milk. Very friendly service. Bread and cakes looked lovely.
